Attended the Houston World Series of Dog Shows yesterday and made it a point to swing by and join the new Texas Professional Pet Groomers Association ! Unfortunately, grooming is not a regulated industry and anybody can pick up a pair of scissors and call themselves a groomer. This organization is here to help bring regulations and guidelines to the industry through education and safety. I can now say I am a proud member and I can’t wait to see where this is headed!

As most of you know, our big boy, Charlie, is not in the best of health and he can no longer get in my car to go to the vet. I had a mobile vet come out today for his checkup, and we loved it! Dr. Baker took her time to give him a thorough check up and didn’t leave until she had answered all my questions. If you’re looking for a caring veterinarian for your dogs, who comes to your house, please give her a call!

Happy Wednesday! I just wanted to send a message out that if I already groom your dog(s), I will continue to do so, but I will be making some schedule adjustments. I some how put myself back to work every Saturday and this part time groomer is pooped! I’ll be in touch to reschedule appointments so I can have some down time back. 🐶✂️❤️

Okay everyone, someone has to know someone who wants a kitten or two! Backstory, these two (female with the dark swirls, male with the stripes) were born from a feral cat at my office around 09/09/22. I started feeding them late October when they showed up. On 11/08/22, i noticed the girl had a large abscess on her head. I caught her and brought her inside. Before i left work to take her to the vet, i spotted little man limping and dragging his front right leg. They were bit by an unknown animal. Little girl had her wound drained and she immediately started healing. Little man was bit on a joint and caused a great deal of pain and discomfort. The vet thought he might lose the leg. Thankfully, he is using the leg again, but he does walk with a limp.

I would love for them to stay together, if possible. The girl is an abundance of personality and little man prefers to be snuggled.

I will pay for their first round of shots and I will pay for their spay/neuter when it’s time.
