Mississippi Coalition for Animal Protection We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Charity. We also work with many other rescue partners both inside and outside of South Mississippi. We are ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome (when needed) animals in crisis, by balancing animal comfort and public safety by supporting local Law Enforcement, Red Cross and Non-Violence Center. MCAP was created to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome animals in crisis (including housing pets experiencing domestic violence), ensure healthy pets through education, advocacy and affordable services (including TNR)

, inspire the community where the animal-human bond is celebrated and nurtured, maximizing live outcomes for animals, while balancing animal comfort and public safety by supporting local law enforcement & animal control officers in South Mississippi as well as assisting Emergency Operations Centers & the American Red Cross during natural disasters. We could not do any of this without our

This is the sound of a HAPPY CAT thats been rescued from a lonely area & the cold. Thank you to everyone who helped get this beautiful baby off the streets!!!! Sadly this baby was found unfixed, and with no microchip or collar/tags.

November is DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH!!!

Not only are people involved, but pets. So often Pets are victims of violence & used to scare people into not leaving a violent situation!!! Mississippi we have to do better!!!

Please support Mississippi Coalition for Animal Protection while we are trying to build a facility to house the Pets to allow more people trapped in a violent situation a way out where they can take their pet to safety!!!!

Imagine your whole world being Flipped upside down....

Well please meet Snow Flake, Buster & their daughter Trouble. These babies range from approximately 4 years to 10 years old.

Their mom passed away unexpectedly. Unfortunately no other family members were able to care for them. They are all sweet babies.

They are looking for a home full of ❤️!!! They prefer to have a fenced yard over walking on Leashes. They play with dog toys & sleep cuddled up together.
