Merry Christmas to all! I just got some kind of weird notification about a LLF violation of terms. It was a security breach, which I think I have fixed, but if I disappear permanently you'll know why. This shouldn't be hard for the user and easy for the scammers.

Brothers and Neighbors! This is Otto and Rocky who went home and didn't see each other for a few days....but they just got to realize they are neighbors (and BFFs) I love it! Their play will be so epic as they grow up. Also Rocky's big brothers Knox and Bashor.
Snowy would have been 16 today! She almost made it - still lives in my heart every day.

The looks I get (and oh, what I hear) when they think breakfast is late.LOL It wasn't. You'd think they were starving when in fact they had nursed 30 minutes earlier.
4 weeks old and first meal! Litter box training is going great and they took to food like pros.
Last night we made the big move! I had a Patriot Jr (his grandad, trust me on this) go over the wall several times. Someone always goes over the wall of the whelping pool, but usually to get to milk. This guy figured out how to do it and was doing it because he could. That is trouble.LOL So they got their training pen. I've had a couple use the potty, but am hoping for lots of activity on that tomorrow and the next day. Jussie learned quickly. At first she was like - why? why is there a barrier to get to them. Then she realized it was actually her great escape. I love that brain. Oh, and PS - no one freaked out on the move. Usually one or two just kind of cries it out a bit. Very proud of their confidence.
Thanks to Campbell for getting this cuteness!! They are becoming so aware of things other than nursing. We'll see a lot of changes this week!
They are wrestling now at every awakening. They also will now come to the side of the pool if they hear my voice for pats - which is SOOOO endearing. Campbell has worked OT every day, but did get a video for me and I'm just waiting for the file. Sorry!
They will be 3 weeks tomorrow! Jussie is doing well and normally weighs about 60 pounds...the puppies collectively weigh 24 - so its a lot to keep up with. They will get their first food maybe Monday and training pen a couple days later. I trimmed 108 nails today while they were all drunken asleep. Everyone weighs over 4 pounds and are walking and wrestling. Cam will help me get a video soon!

Here are the girls checking out an entirely new space. I have a therapy pick in here so I like to see reactions. 9 out of 10 puppies at the age of 2 weeks old would have cried to be removed from their familiar setting. This is a big pass on all and HIGH score on the one girl. Even middle of the road girl had a very positive response. That bed is brand new, so while it did have some mom scent, it was also very new and different smelling to the whelping box. Usually something a baby puppy interprets as the world ending. Adventure girl even went off the map and explored the room. A+++
The boys are also adorable and we got a yawner which is pretty special! They are chunky monkeys who eat all the time.
The girls are all adorable! Not everyone took a great shot. At 2 weeks of age they jerk their heads all over the place. So they take better pics when full of milk as they stay still, but want to nod off. You can't win - but here are our first portraits of the dolls.

The babies are 11 days old and I saw the first hint of open eyes today! Tomorrow during full daylight I should get more. I won't use flash camera on newly opened eyes, but they are growing so fast and fat!

Halo and Sheila still doing great things! Obedience Title joins his therapy certificate. Halo was homed as a therapy dog with lots of potential, but turned out to be a mismatch. Merilee with ReadingPAWS (who has our therapy dogs) helped me and Halo find Sheila. She got a bit of a wild child with tons of potential, but very little discipline to his intelligence. Well, a smarty pants golden without solid leadership is trouble. She molded Halo and worked him into a fabulous family member, therapy dog, and now exemplary obedience dog! And he now has a younger brother Doc following in his footsteps (hopefully minus the wild child status.LOL)
We're BAACCCKKK!!! READing Paws Teams are back partnering with Nemours PEDS Academy READing with the children at Nemours Children's Hospital. Halo, Joey and Joie and their READers were featured in the "Nemours Volunteer Connection today!
Doc Henry and Sheila did it!!! New therapy dog and he is the YOUNGEST I think I've ever had pass. He got certified before he was a year old. So congrats on a job well done. Doc and Sheila will join Doc's big brother Halo who is already working.
