Which leaves Bernie. We just learned that Bernie and some others will attend a Pop Up Adoption Event tomorrow, 2/16, at PetSmart in Flowery Branch from 2PM to 5PM. We hope this great dog catches an adopter’s eye! If YOU have any interest in Bernie, please email the following staff ASAP:

Friends, we started out with 23 dogs this week, and one remains. This was incredible - the amount of support shown, the shares, rescues stepping in, we REALLY felt the love.

Free vaccine clinic, Atlanta Humane

We're excited to announce that we are hosting a free vaccine clinic thanks to The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation!

We’ll be providing Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccines, plus free microchips and pet food to help keep your pets healthy and safe.

Please help sweet Dolores!

Once upon a time, there was a brave little pup named Dolores who needed a happily ever after. Thanks to so many caring hearts, she found it! This is truly paw-some.

Back in July, Dolores came to us with a complicated past, requiring emergency medical care and an extra dose of TLC to start her healing journey. After our amazing vet team gave her the care she needed, which included removing her left eye, Dolores was off to a shelter in Tennessee, then to a rescue in Maryland, and finally, she found her forever castle in Pennsylvania.

Now known as Bunny, this one-eyed wonder is living her best life with her human mom Kathy and her chihuahua siblings Rocky, Moose, and Bubby. Her eye has healed beautifully, and Bunny is strutting her stuff on walks, growing more confident every single day.

Kathy says, "I'm so grateful for everyone who helped her along her way as she is the sweetest chihuahua ever! So, a very big THANK YOU for everything you do every day for all the pups, kitties, and other animals needing help.”

If you can foster or adopt, please go save a life. This is the awful reality of most all shelters and they will euthanize for space.

We're currently at critical capacity and want to let you know that NOW is the time to adopt and foster!

Update!! Booker was adopted!!!! Please help save a life by providing a foster home for sweet Booker from Walton County. If a foster home is not found, Booker will be euthanized. Help is needed! Donations are needed for sweet baby Jeep's additional bloodwork and medical tests. This 10-week-old baby was almost euthanized due to lack of interest. He's a sweet, wobbly baby, and we need to determine the cause. We've spent hundreds to stabilize him, including bloodwork to check for FIP, and he's currently on FIP medication. Hello everyone! My friend is fostering a disabled kitten named Shadow through the Gwinnett Humane Society. Shadow is 2.5 months old, full of life, and loves cuddles and playing.
