Ursa is a sweet 7-year-old female GSD. She loves treats, but attention and affection are her favorite rewards. Ursa likes to play a little bit with a ball, but it's not her primary focus. She LOVES to cuddle with her humans and is easy to handle on a leash. Ursa is healthy and loves to go for a walk!

FOSTER OR ADOPT!!! Estella is a 10-month-old female GSD. She is high-energy and likes to jump. She is a bit mouthy in that she puts her mouth on your hand not to bite but just being nippy as young GSDs can be.

Estella walks pretty well on a leash and takes treats gently. She just needs someone to spend time with her to help her learn manners.

Meet Duke 2🤩

Duke is an almost 7-year-old male GSD. His original owner had to go into a nursing home and passed away shortly after. This poor guy has been shuffled around the past few years and his current owner was going to drop him back off at a shelter because of family allergies. He is a sweet boy who gets along with other dogs and was living with children.

🌺🌸FOSTER or ADOPT Beautiful Astrid ❤️❤️❤️

This Beautiful girl is 6 years old, 50 lbs and a bundle of love! She came to animal control as a stray, just dumped into a neighborhood. Astrid is good with other large dogs. We do not yet know about small dogs or cats. This beauty is in immediate need of a foster or an adopter. She needs a warm cozy couch to curl up on!

Astrid recently went for a Bark Break from the kennel, and here is what her foster for the day said!! "Astrid is amazing! The sweetest girl I've seen in a long while. Rides well, no barking, and so gentle!" And she loves pup-cups from Starbucks, too!

Raven is adopted. She hit the jackpot with new mom Syl. She moved to Charlotte where she is settling in nicely. Raven gets to go to work with Syl everyday at doggy play care!!

This sweet 4-year-old girl was brought in with her Westie sister Cassie (who has been adopted). An elderly gentleman was doing his best to care for them while struggling to take care of himself. Layyah's lack of physical care is the cause of her loss of fur. She is currently being treated for that. She is a snuggle bug.

Meet Layyah! This sweet and lovable pup is looking for her forever home. Layyah is a people dog through and through—she thrives on being with her humans and loves to be part of the action. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will be your shadow, Layyah is your girl!

True to her foodie nature, Layyah is very motivated by treats, making her a great candidate for training. While she didn’t receive much training in her previous home and is still working on her manners, she’s eager to learn. She can get excited and jump or bark, and she’s been known to counter surf—but with consistent guidance, she’ll blossom into the well-behaved dog she’s meant to be.

Layyah absolutely loves her walks! She’ll need someone who can help her perfect her leash skills, but she’s ready to enjoy every step of the journey by your side. She’s good with other dogs but doesn’t seem to know how to play with them just yet—she’s learning!

When it’s bath time, Layyah might look pitiful, but she’s a champ who handles it well. She’s fantastic with people of all ages, including kids, and her big, intimidating bark makes her an excellent watch dog.

💙🐾Help Traveler Find His Forever Home – And the Care He Desperately Needs!💙🐾

Traveler Jones has already been through more than any dog should ever have to endure. This brave, one-year-old German Shepherd was abandoned and left to fend for himself for over a month—struggling to survive alone, growing weaker by the day. When he was finally rescued by Habersham County Animal Control, he weighed just 52 pounds, a heartbreaking sign of his struggle.

But the most shocking part of Traveler's story? Someone shot him in the face. Despite this unimaginable cruelty, Traveler still wags his tail and looks at humans with trust and love. He has a hole in his tongue from the wound (which has since healed) and a fractured molar that still needs to be removed. His road to recovery isn't over yet.

Traveler is every bit the joyful, playful young German Shepherd. He’s wonderful with other dogs, affectionate with people, and eager to please. He knows basic commands like sit, down, and shake, and he thrives on companionship. He walks well on a leash, rides happily in the car (after a few minutes of convincing him to stay in the back seat), and adores his stuffed toys—though they may lose an ear or a foot after a few weeks of play.

But Traveler still needs help. He needs a loving adopter who will show him the kindness and security he deserves. And he needs financial support to cover his remaining medical care, especially his much-needed dental surgery.

Bella Rose is a beautiful, approximately 7-year-old GSD female. Bella is very sweet, loves to play and is always up for an adventure. She loves to go on walks and is really good on a leash. She loves to ride in the car. Bella hasn't been reactive to people or other dogs.

You couldn't even touch her without her yelping when she came to us. She has come a long way! She still has a sensitivity to being touched but has gotten better. Bella needs a home that can understand she may have had a rough past and be patient with her.

Mocha is a loving, mature Malinois. At just under 70 pounds, she is fully grown and ready to relax. Mocha enjoys lying around the house and following her humans from room to room. She would do exceptionally well in a home with an owner who works from home and can spend lots of time with her.

She is currently in a foster home, working on basic commands and learning to love her crate for safety. While mature, this girl has not yet mastered the command to "sit."

She is house-trained and loves other people. She shows no reaction to most other dogs but seems to prefer to be by herself. Mocha seems to defy the typical Malinois energy levels & much prefers to lay around the house rather than work or play. She would make a great companion and house dog for almost any home.

Jordan is a FANTASTIC dog looking for his furever home. Could it be yours?

He is a sweet 13-year-old retriever/GSD mix. His owners took him to the vet to be euthanized because they didn't want him anymore. The vet contacted CPR to rescue this awesome boy.

His heart is as full as his coat is red. It appears that he has had previous training. He knew how to use a doggie door immediately, he gets along well with other dogs, he loves car rides. He leans in to get pets and gives great hugs. Jordan loves to play with toys and anything comfy to lay on. Jordan is looking to live out his golden years in a forever home.

ADOPTED -- Raven is a 2-year-old low-shedding shepherd mix who was on the euthanasia list at Walton County Animal Control. She’s super smart, aims to please and is treat motivated, so she learns quickly. Raven sits when asked, shakes your hand and lies down. She lives with small dogs and cats.

Raven loves all people and gives lots of kisses. She will bark to warn strangers it’s her yard/house. She is a great watchdog! Raven loves going for walks and playing fetch with the ball. She’s 100% potty trained and crate trained. Raven would make a great addition to any family!
