This boy was brought into the local animal shelter late yesterday after being found on a property — skin hanging on bones, too weak to stand. He needed immediate medical intervention, and when the shelter reached out to us, we didn’t hesitate.
At the shelter he was just a number, a “stray” with no collar and no chip. But the moment he lifted his head and mustered the strength to wag and give the tiniest kisses… he became Delaney; and Delaney is fighting for his life.
We don’t know how he ended up in such a critical state. What we do know is that his body has no blood, his condition is unstable, and he needs 24/7 critical-care monitoring — fluids, nutrition, constant PVC checks — just to have a chance. Delaney has been fighting for weeks, maybe months, just to survive long enough for someone to help him. Now he finally has a small army standing beside him.
He’s no longer alone.
But to keep fighting for him, we need you.
It’s going to be touch-and-go, intensive, and expensive. But Delaney held on long enough to get to this moment, and we owe him the best chance to make it through… maybe even to see Christmas with a full belly, warm bed, and people who love him.
These past months have been filled with one critical case after another — and because of you, we’ve saved every single one. Today, Delaney needs that same lifeline more than ever.
If you’re able to support his fight, that is truly the Christmas miracle Delaney and we need. ❤️🐾
