Mark your calendars— Paws in the Park is almost here!

Join us on Saturday, May 10th from 5–7 PM at Hancock Park in Dahlonega for a fun-filled evening of live music, food, drinks, and prizes—all to support the animals of Friends of Lumpkin County Shelter Animals!

This amazing event is being hosted by Tony N Carol and other dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference for shelter pets.

Come enjoy 70s and 80s hits by the Auraria Band, take your chances in the raffle, bid in the silent auction (hello, 4-day Hilton Head getaway!), and grab some tasty eats and drinks from local favorites like Shenanigans and the Brookton Catfish School.

All proceeds go directly to helping shelter animals in need.
Let’s come together for the animals—bring your lawn chairs, your friends, and your love for pets!

VCA Dahlonega Animal Hospital and UGA Lumpkin County Extension are hosting their annual Rabies Clinic on April 5th! 🗓️🐾
This is an affordable and easy way to keep your pets up to date on their vaccines while supporting a great cause! 🐶🐱

What a big day this was for Honey! This sweet girl took to the skies on a special journey to All 4 The Dogs Rescue, where a new life and fresh opportunities awaited.

Thanks to the incredible teamwork between the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter staff and All 4 the Dogs, Honey will be in a loving furever home, receiving the care and attention she deserves.

Congratulations to Honey! She made it safely to the rescue. We can’t wait to see you thrive in your new home. 💙🐾
