Thank you TLC Humane Society for having us at Bark in the Park 2024! It was a very successful day for the animals! We did several adoptions and couldn’t be more happy with our outcome! Such a great organization and so glad we get to work to save lives together!🐾🫶🏻

Tammy, Stormy, and Pookie, the long term residents of Lumpkin County Animal Shelter. All 3 have sat and waited, for far longer than they should have, but we are BEYOND happy to say that all 3 have now been ADOPTED! All in one weekend, how great is that?! We hope they have a wonderful life with their new families!♥️

We are so excited for our nonprofit and how it is growing! Thank you all! 💙

Our nonprofit is dedicated to giving shelter animals a second chance. We raise funds to cover adoption fees, treat sick or injured animals, and provide spay/neuter services for pets of families in need.

An a nonprofit that supports an animal shelter, we feel a deep responsibility to extend our support to the shelters in western North Caroline that were directly affected by hurricane Helene’s destruction. The devastation caused by the storm has left shelters with limited resources and difficult conditions. By spreading the word on their needs, assisting in receiving donations, and encouraging adoptions/fosters we can hopefully help these shelters recover. Our collective effort can help ensure that these vulnerable animals receive the care they need while their communities rebuild. Together, we can extend a lifeline to these shelters in their time of need.

💙The Humane Society of Charlotte is helping tremendously, a great way for you to help them is to take a look at the animals available for adoption there. This very well could have been our little mountain town and we would like to help in any way that we can. If you know of any resources to help, in any of the states that were hit by this tragedy, please post them in the comments.

HSC believes that by working to improve animal welfare, we’re not only saving the lives of animals but are also building a better community.

Honored to see our incredible animal control and shelter featured in the Nugget! 🐾 Their hard work and dedication to rescuing, caring for, and adopting animals in our community is truly inspiring. Did you know tomorrow is Puppy Mill Awareness Day?

A puppy mill is an inhumane, commercial dog breeding facility where the health of the dog is disregarded in order to maintain a low overhead and maximize profits. Because most puppy mills are not illegal, we need help from the public to put an end to the consumer demand for their "product." You can help put a stop to puppy mills by getting your next dog from an animal shelter, rescue group, or a humane and responsible breeder that you have carefully screened in person. The key is IN PERSON! Go and see where the dogs live and are being cared for. If they are a reputable breeder, they will welcome it.
