What a lovely Labor Day with the GDCTA! The goal for the weekend was homework and positive experiences and we certainly accomplished that!

Delaurienne HVH, Owned by Annetta Coleman, went out for her first ever dressage show!!! An incredible amount of growth and confidence from day to day, winning her 1st-3 class with a 72%! An absolute class mare, also earning 80%+ scores in materiale classes. A joy to develop her and her HVH sisters, there is nothing in the world like a good mare!

Point Blank RFB, Owned by Melissa Benik and myself, went out at 1st again for some homework and had wonderful gait scores and a significant improvement in quality and rideablitity. Looking forward to showing him off at regionals after 4th and 5th place in a big class!

Bayberry ERR, Owned by Laura Oliver, showed off some training level scores at 73%+ AND debuted at 1st level and won her class with a 70%! An absolute privilege to have been the first person to sit on this mare and get to continue to develop her. It's been a fun few years and look forward to many more with my girl!

Thank you so much to all my girls at home that make it possible for me to go and chase my dreams, and thank you to all of my owners and clients for your trust and the immense privilege it is to take care of and develop these fabulous babies. It is an opportunity I don't take lightly and the partnership I have with all of them is something I will never forget.

What a wonderful weekend at Chatt! The girls absolutely killed it and we are so thrilled with the rideablity, partnership and results.

Franziska HVH, owned by Annetta Coleman, debuts at first level with killer scores of 74+% and 76+%! She was also high point champion both days! The future is bright for this young mare and we cannot wait to see what it brings.

Eponine VD Watermolen, our watermelon penny, owned by Audrey Waters, continues to show off the upper level prowess we are working every day for. She gets her qualifying scores at 4th with a 64+% and a 68%! Such a joy to experience the partnership with this mare, never had such fun in the arena.

Bayberry ERR, our wonderful 4 year old owned by Laura Oliver and originally started under saddle by Olivia, went for her training level debut after having the winter off to grow. She showed wonderful development over the weekend and came home with a 68.4% and a 70.4%!

THANK YOU to all our wonderful owners, boarders, clients, friends for sharing in the barn family and success. Weekends like this, the love, growth and camaraderie, are why we do it!

Wow wow wow! We had a fabulous and fun day at our first ever Open House! To new friends and old, thank you SO much for coming out and supporting us, meeting some ponies, eating some hot dogs and watching demonstrations! So many photos we’re missing but so many face paintings were had!

It brings us so much joy to open our home to everyone and see people get to interact with horses and have a safe pleasant introduction to the sport. We look forward to many more years of being a part of the Dahlonega community.

What a fun day at River Mist schooling shows! I had the pleasure of piloting Laura Oliver’s Bayberry ERR around her first training test and first CT! High point and low point of the day and lots of fun moments. Austin continues his perfect 2nd level practice in his pursuits to FEI children’s! We love our Brooksie. Thank you to Emily for all your help!

The Riding Academy kids, Cora, Tessa, and Annie had a fabulous day, with lots of good ribbons and lots of good experiences!

Thank you to all our parents and clients who make life so fun.

Come join our wonderful group of clients and horses and enjoy our beautiful facility in the North Georgia mountains.

Lovingston Dressage is owned and operated by FEI riders and grooms, who offer world class individual care with years of experience in various disciplines.

Our facility boats an oversized covered arena with fans, heated barn, large stalls with runouts, multiple heated bathrooms and boarder tack room with individual lockers.

Our training program is dressage based and open to all ages and levels of horses and riders. We have progressed multiple horses through the FEI levels of Dressage and have multiple USDF HOY winners and recipients.

Reminiscing on our first Valentines Day Bash with the girls of the Lovingston Dressage Riding Academy!
We enjoyed some wonderful demonstrations from LD trainers, including wrapping 101 and installing fake tails, followed by a fun group lesson, and a projector movie in the barn!
Honored to have the chance to educate the next generation on the love, fun and responsibility of horses. Barn rats are alive and well at LD!

✨Rare opportunity to get into a quality FEI dressage program on a safe, kind, versatile horse!✨

Quinn is a 6 year old Irish Draft gelding who has been there, done that, gotten the tshirt and wants to do it again! Quinn has spent years foxhunting with his ammy owner in Virginia, then went in dressage boot camp for the winter and LOVES it so much, we really want him to stay in the program! He is schooling 1st/2nd level movements and offers the smoothest, most comfortable gaits in the world. Quinn is very smart and learns quickly, works very hard to please his rider, and is an absolute love to be around in the barn. I cannot say enough good things about this horse, he is so lovely to have in the barn and one I wholeheartedly look forward to getting on every day!

Quinn is currently available in Wellington FL and will be available at our farm in Dahlonega, GA mid April. On site lease only, training package required. Lot's of different options for this situation, if you are looking to get into dressage or just have a kind, safe, fun horse for you or a family member to ride, please reach out!

Meet Indium, AKA Roger. Roger is a 10 year old TB who doubles as an angel on his days off and will love your kid like his very own. Roger lives on the lazier side of life and thus is perfect for everyone, from dead beginners to short stirrup to adult amateurs alike.

Meet Girl on Fire, AKA ✨Sparkles✨. Sparkles is a 25 year old mare who has aged like fine wine and possesses all the wisdom of your perfect grandmother. She is ready to teach anyone the ropes!

We would love to have you in our program, all ages and skill levels are accepted. We will teach you all of the basics of horse care and handling in your initial lesson and our positive and educated instructors are ready to help you in your riding journey!
