Nova is the Atlanta Humane Society pet this week!

Nova is a resilient Shepherd mix who has overcome a difficult start in life and is now ready for a loving home. At just 1 year old, this sweet and gentle spayed female has a calm and trusting nature, deeply appreciating the kindness and care she now receives. While she can get a little anxious when left alone, she has learned to manage it with support and a consistent routine. Nova adores cuddling on the couch, curling up in the funniest sleeping positions, and being close to her people. She is great with kids under 10 and has lived with other dogs, though she may need slow introductions. Fully potty trained and well-behaved on a leash, she is content napping or gazing out the window while waiting for her family to return. Nova is looking for a patient and loving family who will embrace her as she is—ready to fill their home with joy, cuddles, and unconditional love.
