We’ve been asked a lot recently about proper brushing to help maintain a healthy coat on pups. We hope this helps. We also have another video on our page showing proper brushing technique. 🐾
Regular brushing helps prevent matting. A metal comb should be able to glide easily through your pups coat. 🐾

🐾 FULL GROOM: Bath in quality shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brush, cut, nail trim, perfume, and bandanna or bow.
🐾 FACE, FEET, and SANI: Bath in quality shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brush, cut around face, paws, and potty area, nail trim, perfume, and bandanna or bow.
🐾 DESHED: Bath in quality deshedding shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brush, rake/curry, cut if necessary, nail trim, perfume, and bandanna or bow.
🐾 HAND STRIP: Bath in quality shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brush, using proper technique with tools, nail trim, perfume, and bandanna or bow.
🐾 BATH: Bath with quality shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brush, perfume, and bow or bandana.
🐾 NAIL TRIM: all grooming services include nail trimming and dremel if your pup will tolerate the dremel.
🐾 EAR CLEANING: All grooming services include ear cleaning as well.
Note: Services can be tailored for your needs. If you prefer no perfume or if your pup needs one of our specialty shampoo/conditioners such as hypoallergenic or other treatments, we can make that happen.
Awesome Dog Grooming operating hours are by appointment. We are typically open from 9 am til 4 pm Monday thru Friday, however we can open early and we are open one Sunday each month for our clients who are unable to stop by during the week. Cheyenne Turley is a National Certified Master Groomer that, prior to opening Awesome Dog Grooming, was a groomer at the Grande Pawlace in Enterprise and groomer and manager of Precious Paws in Tennessee before moving to Alabama.
With over a decade of experience and having earned the designation of National Certified Master Groomer from the National Dog Groomers Association of America, she has the skills to ensure your pet looks their best. To earn the designation of National Certified Master Groomer, one must pass a written examination covering conformation and grooming standards for multiple breeds and a culmination of passing an in-person grooming examination of multiple breeds whereas multiple certifiers will grade your grooms.

Cheyenne has been grooming for ten years and has held the designation of NCMG since 2014. She was taught by Deborah Maggart, and studied under well known dog show handlers such as Adriano Rocha, Danielle Lessard, and Dr. Lisa Sarvas. Cheyenne has competed and won multiple grooming competitions.
