Kennel/Janitorial position available. This position can be physically demanding and at times requires heavy lifting. Duties include daily cleaning of kennels, cages, and public areas, following proper disease control protocol to ensure a clean,sterile environment. Manage and care for boarding animals. Keep veterinarians/technicians informed of animal behavior, health, or concerns. Stock all kennel/cleaning supplies as needed. Clean surgical laundry, clean and sterilize surgical instruments, and prepare surgical packs as needed. Clean, fold, and stock kennel laundry throughout the clinic. Other duties as assigned, but most of all love animals.

Basic grammar, spelling, and math skills are required. 8am-5pm Monday -Friday, with rotating weekends. Starting wage commensurate with experience. Resumes accepted at 12035 FM 3139, Dalhart, Texas.

We are hiring! Twist Junction Veterinary Services is currently taking applications for an additional Veterinary Assistant/Technician position. If you are the team member we are looking for you’ll be familiar with basic animal behavior, outgoing, enthusiastic, compassionate, and not afraid to get dirty. This position encompasses a wide range of duties, which at times are physically demanding and may require heavy lifting. Duties include assisting the veterinarians with exams, surgeries, lab work, cleaning/stocking large and small animal facilities, in-patient care, aiding patient check-in/discharge, and other duties as assigned. You’ll need to be professional, trustworthy, industrious, punctual, have previous large and/or small animal experience, and love smiling. You will be given an opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve well above-average results and remuneration.
