As we roll into 2025 one of our main goals is to utilize the Meat Shed more! We want to share it with you! We are working on plans to open the shed a few times each month and possibly more! But we need your help what days and times of the week would you like to come and do some meat shopping? Also we want to offer more local products for you. What would you like to purchase with your meat? Homemade bread, buns, milk, cheese, eggs, sweet treats, also looking at making tallow lotion and candles! REMINDER!! We will be "meating" Tomorrow, Saturday, January 11 at 8 a.m. in Adel, 8:30 a.m. in Dallas Center, 9 a.m. in Grimes at the Old Library and 10 a.m. in Ankeny at the Farmers Market Pavilions!

What is your favorite Christmas meal? I will say for Farmer Dan, Linda, Farmer Joe, Brenda along with Emily and Jeff the answer will be Prime Rib! We have made it a tradition over the past few years and one that will not go away soon!
We are still taking reservations for the FEW SPOTS we have left for our Christmas Prime Ribs! These are all 14-day Dry-Aged, Bone-less but wrapped with bone if you want to cook that way, we will have both Fresh and Frozen options. They will be in the 6-8 pound range. They are $24.99 per pound.
