Kennel Cough Alert!

We have a reported case on Kennel Cough!
If your dog has been coughing or sneezing please let us know and DO NOT bring your dog to daycare. Even if your dog has a mild or occasional cough it could be kennel cough! A mild case for your dog could be a SEVERE case for another dog!

If your dog is diagnosed with kennel cough please keep them home a full 2 weeks or a full 5 days after their last cough - whichever is longest!
Kennel cough spreads incredibly fast from dog to dog. While we immediately isolate and send home dogs that cough or sneeze dogs can be contagious several days BEFORE ever showing symptoms and for several days AFTER symptoms stop.

What we are doing at daycare:
- bleaching our water bowls hourly and all food bowls after each use
- Disinfecting the inside of our building three times per day
- Disinfecting our yard two times per day
- Changing air filters every other day (we use antimicrobial air filters as well)
- We have air and surface sanitizers in use at all times

What we need you to do:
- Keep dogs that show symptoms home the appropriate amount of time
- Keep your dog up to date on the bordetella vaccine and send us a photo of the new due date once the vaccine has been updated.
