Our founders were featured on Good Morning Texas!! So many amazing, innocent animals like Pixie wouldn’t be here today without their incredible fosters stepping up to give them a second chance at life and finding a forever home. If less than 1% of DFW residents stepped up to foster an animal in need, we could clear out our local shelters. The good news? Anyone can become a foster parent! Watch the full GMT segment to learn more, or visit our website www.thebarkingproject.com for helpful resources.

Bailey ❤️
Abandoned mama dog needs an adopter or foster or she will be euthanized for space Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center

Meet Bailey, a resilient and loving dog who’s ready for her forever home! 🐾✨ After being found abandoned and caring for seven puppies, Bailey has been on quite a journey. Despite her rough start, she's now healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm-free.
Bailey is a calm, gentle girl with a quiet protective nature. She’s great with kids, other dogs, and cats, and has quickly won hearts with her sweet demeanor. Housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash, Bailey also enjoys chewies, stuffies, and rolling in the grass. She’s a bit of a guardian angel in a petite package—serene, loving, and always up for a cuddle.
Though Bailey was overlooked for a while and recently returned to the shelter, she’s ready to find a loving family who will cherish her. She’s shown remarkable resilience and playfulness and is eager to share her loving spirit with a new family. Don’t miss the chance to meet this amazing girl who just wants to be loved and cared for. ❤️🏡

Dallas, TX - Dallas Animal Services
Rocco (A1215645) is only 2 years old and will be euthanized on Thursday due to lack of space. He was an owner surrender with other dogs and it was clear he was not fed and neither were the dogs that came with him.

Despite the cruel life he has been living, he still remains a sweet and loving boy. LOOK AT THAT FACE. (see notes in the original post)

Rocco needs an adopter or foster ASAP or he will be put to sleep for space. Someone needs to give him the love he deserves.

You do not have to live in Dallas to adopt or foster Rocco. You would need to set up transportation and cover the cost. I can help guide you and give you a list of companies other have used.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ADOPT OR FOSTER ROCCO, YOU CAN HELP BY SHARING HIM ASAP TO YOUR NETWORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA. YOUR CONTACT MIGHT BE THE HERO THAT SAVES HIM.
Interested?? Email is name and A # to [email protected] and [email protected] NOW!

Meet Timber! Timber is a very gentle, calm girl. She’s a bit shy, but warms up quickly. She has a dainty play style, enjoying a lot of run/chase and tugging games. Timber is good with cats and the other dogs in her current foster home. Timber loves hugs. She’s a snuggle-bug on the couch. She does well on a leash, is relaxed in public, and is not reactive to new dogs. This is a dog you could take with you everywhere. Timber is still crate training and house-breaking, but she’s doing great. Timber came to her foster dad scared of the world and lacking trust in her surroundings. In the few weeks she has lived with her foster parent, her personality has begun to really blossom. She’s gaining more confidence every day. There’s no doubt that Timber will bond with a forever family and share a lifetime of love! To learn more about Timber, reach out to her foster parent – Randall Carnes • [email protected] [email protected] • 214-770-9409
