Over the weekend we co-hosted the Margarita Mania XVIII tournament with Hyper Flight Flyball Club & Top Dog Racers!
We are excited to announce that we welcomed our first out-of-town new member, Katlyn Stay! She has been extremely helpful at tournaments and we are happy to have her be a part of BT!
We ran a few pairs & singles on Saturday, both teams on Sunday, and preflight both days at the tournament. Thanks to everyone who helped us in the lanes and to our Hyper Flight friends for running a pickup team with us on Saturday!
Sascha made her pairs debut on Saturday with June and did an awesome job!
Our preflight Whippets, Saber & Paisley, looked great and will be making their singles debuts next month! 🤩
Dog of the weekend goes to Dobby who ran all weekend long with no errors and ran another 3.9 on the clock at the end of the day on Sunday! Way to go Dobby & Matthew Bell! 🎉
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Summer Sizzler tournament next month! 🔥

Huge thanks to OddBallz Flyball Club for hosting the first annual Oddstock tournament over the weekend! They did an awesome job keeping things fun and moving along quickly!
BOOM ran a few different lineups with the fastest time of 14.593 over the weekend.
BANG racked up more points and had very few errors all weekend long. Awesome job, BANGERS!
Our Preflight Whippets made more great progress in the lanes. They will be making their singles debuts in no time!
Our current singles dogs Mando & Sascha are solid and ready for their pairs debuts soon. Mando ran a new best time of 4.011 and Sascha is climbing up the Fastest Doberman Chart with a new best time of 4.463 ( #7 all-time)!
Dog of the weekend goes to Paisley who made amazing progress in the lanes and ran her first full run racing another dog And carrying her ball! 🌟 Great job, Jennifer & Paisley!
It was Puppy Season in Bonham! We enjoyed meeting all of the other new flyball puppies and future competition. 😜
We will be co-hosting the Margarita Mania XVIII tournament next month! Hope to see y’all there!

Huge thanks to Full Speed Ahead Flyball Team for hosting the Grand Prix tournament in memory of Jimmy Simpson. It was a great tribute to Jimmy and a very well run tournament. 🎾🏁
BOOM received 1st place ribbons on Saturday and ran a lot of 14 sec times.
BANG placed 3rd on Saturday. This was Boots’s first tournament to run full time on BANG and also his first time to rerun.
Our singles dogs were burning up the lanes and both ran new best times! Sascha 4.476 & Mando 4.096!
Our preflight dogs made a lot of great progress over the weekend as well. More BT singles debuts to come!
Dog of the weekend goes to Charm, who retired in style at the tournament. She was one of the core BOOM dogs whenever BreakThrough was founded. She had an amazing flyball career. Charm will be joining her half sister Trauma by helping train puppies and green dogs at practice.
We enjoyed being in the racing lanes with our TX/OK Flyball community and we are looking forward to the April tournament! A special Congratulations to the hosting team FSA on their new best time over the weekend! 🎉

Thank you to Special Fources Flyball Club for hosting the Winter Games 2024 Flyball Tournament over the weekend! It was great to be back in the racing lanes!
BOOM placed 1st in D1 on Saturday. Pizza joined the BOOM lineup and ran really well in the pack! A lot of our BOOM dogs made great progress and we are excited to continue that this year!
We also ran our B-team BANG, several singles, and preflights. Mando made his singles debut and it was very successful with a fastest time of 4.27! Congratulations to Mando & Doreen! Boots set a high bar for English Cocker Spaniels for 2024 and ran a new best time of 4.60!
Dog of the weekend goes to Trauma who ran her retirement race over the weekend. She had an amazing flyball career and was a legend in the lanes! She will continue to be a preflight helper and help out at practices going forward!
We enjoyed celebrating many achievements with our flyball community and look forward to seeing everyone again at the March tournament!

2023 Championships definitely didn’t go as we had hoped. Plan A became plan B, then C, then D, & so on. It was a rough weekend for BOOM but we still had some awesome team highlights. Thank you to Stephanie on Fetch It Flyball Club, Lucinda & Connie on Full Speed Ahead Flyball Team, and Hyper Flight Flyball Club for all of their help in the lanes. We were very short handed this year and really appreciate all of the help!
It was our height dog Indi’s last year to run on a Championship team. She ran really well all weekend with no errors. We are proud of all that she has helped us accomplish! She has been an amazing height dog that will be hard for us to replace.
BANG started off the weekend placing 1st for Dream Team (D1) on Friday and 3rd place (D2) on Saturday!
The Golden Girls (our 10 year old veterans, Trauma & Charm) ran pairs on Friday placing 3rd (D1)! It was bittersweet as it was their last year to compete at U-FLI Champs.
We also had Saber and Confetti in the Test Flight lanes on Friday!
Dog of the weekend goes to Dobby! It was his first time to attend U-FLI Champs and he ran full time on BANG both Friday and Saturday. Dobby also ran a new best time of 3.95 on the clock. Matt and Dobby have been working hard to get that 3.9! We are proud of them!
Congratulations to Pawbusters for winning 1st place in Division 1 this year! Also congratulations to our TX friends Top Dog Racers for making it in the Division 1 Top 3! We loved seeing all of our friends in St. Louis! Thank you to the U-FLI organization for all of their hard work. We can’t wait to be back in the lanes competing with the best, next year!

We are super proud of our team, Bang (Dobby, Arrow, Flare, June and Spell), as they took home first place in Division 1 on “Dream Team” day! We had a wonderful time competing in the lanes today, and we are so proud of Dobby and Matt’s debut at champs! Way to go guys! 🩷🥇
It was also team Tie-Die day… huge shoutout to Jenny Pike for the amazing team gear for our team today!!

Huge thanks to RUSH Flyball Club for putting on a great tournament over the weekend! They put on a really well run tournament with very few members. Our team scored big and came home with a bunch of raffle winnings!
For our last local tournament before U-FLI Champs, we tried out several different BOOM lineups and figured out what worked and what didn’t. We also ran our b-team BANG over the weekend, pairs and a couple of singles races. Our preflight dogs Saber, Mando & Paisley made some great progress in the lanes! At the tournament we also welcomed our newest member, Jennifer and her sweet whippet Paisley to join our BT crew! We love all of our new members! 🖤
Dog of the weekend goes to Boots! He ran on a pickup team with our Hyper Flight friends on Saturday and ran Singles and Pairs with June on Sunday! Boots ran a new best time over the weekend of 4.604 and Duston had some really great starts! 👏
We are looking forward to traveling to St. Louis in a couple weeks for U-FLI Champs! We are very excited to be 1 of 4 Div 1 teams from Texas! Texas will be well represented! Hope to see you there!

It was a great weekend at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows! It is always one of our Favorite tournaments of the year to attend! It is “Dog Sports Central” with lots of different events to watch, great shopping, lots of food, and open to the public. The Flyball ring brought in the biggest crowds. Mike Smith was the announcer for almost every race and Michael Borts got the crowds going of course! Our dogs loved all of the hype and being in the spotlight!
BOOM ran well all weekend and came home with 1st place ribbons! We enjoying racing our friends on Prime Time Flyball. Their dogs really push ours!
BANG had several different lineups including the whippet sisters Lulu & Spell (who most of the crowd couldn’t tell apart) and our full-time start dog for the weekend, Dobby.
Charm & Trauma got to run with Special Fources Flyball Club over the weekend for their last year of racing at NRG.
Confetti, Saber, & BB8 even got to practice in the puppy ring in between racing!
Dog of the weekend goes to Sriracha! He ran 3.5s all weekend long with minimal errors while running as start dog on BOOM. Congrats to our Spicy Boy!
Thank you to Lone Star Ruffnecks for all of their hard work hosting Let Freedom Race XIX tournament over the weekend!

⭐️ WAGD Brag!! Matt & his dog Dobby (far left) debuted on a flyball team last weekend at the Summer Sizzler June Tournament in Bonham & Dobby did awesome! He was the start dog on a four dog team. Dobby ran successfully and was able to be passed tighter and tighter by the second dog, resulting in faster team times by the end of the day.

Matt & Dobby started with Flyball classes with Cindy Dalton at WAGD Richardson! Way to go team 🏅

Huge thanks to Prime Time Flyball for hosting the 1st annual Summer Sizzler tournament! PT made it a really great weekend for everyone and we appreciate all of their hard work.
BOOM ran speedy 14 second times all weekend long. Our BOOM dogs love the fast competition we have at the Bonham tournaments!
A couple of our green dogs Dobby & Pizza ran on BANG over the weekend and did great. Spell ran a new best time of 3.513 running as anchor dog on BANG!
Saber rocked her preflight and made some great progress in the lanes.
We also had a fun pairs race, speedy singles race, and helped out several teams in the lanes! It was a busy weekend!
Dogs of the weekend go to Lulu & Dobby! Lulu ran a new best singles time of 3.438 which makes her the fastest singles Whippet in Flyball! She was burning up the lanes also running a 3.39 L2L (with an early start). Dobby made his team debut on BANG over the weekend, ran full time as start dog on Sunday, and took a CHECK pass on the last race of the day!
We are looking forward to attending the Houston World Series of Dogs Shows next month at the NRG Stadium! Hope to see y’all there!

Margarita Mania XVII tournament was a huge success! Special thanks to our co-hosts Hyper Flight Flyball Club & Top Dog Racers! Also to Jess for judging all weekend long and Chloe for working the table and keeping things moving.
BOOM ran 4 different lineups over the weekend including our 10” lineup “SALSA” Sriracha, Apex, Lulu, Samurai). All of the BOOM dogs ran great! We love having lots of fast competition in Div 1 at the Bonham tournaments! There were heats where each team ran clean 14.4s & 14.5s!
Our preflight dogs are looking good and we had some fun pairs teams both days. Dobby made his pairs debut and ran a new best time of 4.056! We are excited to get him running on a team next month.
Dog of the weekend goes to Arrow who ran full time all weekend long with no errors! What a great little height dog she has been for BANG! There will be some new furry faces running with her on BANG next month!
Congratulations to Top Dog Racers and No Big Woof Flyball Club for setting new club records! We are excited for them and for everyone else’s achievements over the weekend! See y’all back in Bonham next month.

BT had a blast at the Spring Fling tournament over the weekend! Huge thanks to Full Speed Ahead Flyball Team and No Big Woof Flyball Club for hosting.
BOOM ran speedy 14 second times all weekend long with an average of 14.67 on Saturday and 14.59 on Sunday! 🔥 We are proud of our BOOM lineup and handlers.
We have a new dog on the BANG lineup! 💥 Pizza made his team debut over the weekend and did an awesome job in start position. BANG is even speedier now, close to running in the 14’s.
We had 3 singles entries with Dobby, Sascha & Boots. All 3 of them did really well in the lanes!
Saber and Smitty rocked their preflights as well and are making great progress!
Charm and Lulu ran pairs over the weekend with the fastest time of 7.12! Lulu ran a new personal best time of 3.39 L2L! She was burning up the lanes!
Dogs of the weekend go to Sascha & Boots! They both had successful Singles Debuts. Sascha ran a best time of 4.76 and Boots ran a best time of 4.61 over the weekend. Congratulations to Iris and Duston! All of their hard work and consistent training has paid off. We are thrilled to have some new BT dogs in the lanes!
We will be cohosting the next tournament in Bonham later this month! Hope to see everyone there!
