Thanks to Special Fources Flyball Club for hosting the first local tournament of the year! At the Winter Games tournament we ran 3 teams (BING, BANG & BOOM), 2 pairs teams, multiple singles & preflights.
With several dogs out this month, we had lots of shuffling around to do over the weekend. Thanks to our Hyper Flight friends Tesla, Nova & Keys for running with us on BING!
Our 1 year olds in-training had their very first preflights! They are looking great!
We had lots of exciting moments during the tournament. Sascha had her team debut and also ran singles! Iris made BT history by nailing 2 perfect starts in the same race! 🌟 It was Levi’s first tournament to handle a dog and he handled it like a pro, running Aurelia in singles! Levi also boxloaded most of our races all weekend long and did a fantastic job!! Boots ran a new best singles time of 4.435 with an Almost perfect start of 0.001! Saber made her U-Fli team debut and it was also her first time running on BOOM! Paisley had her pairs debut and did an awesome job running with Flare! Emma had both her pairs debut & team debut at the tournament!
BT dogs of the weekend go to Manon & June! Manon had her singles debut and ran a best time of 5.173 making her the #1 fastest pug in singles! 🎉 We are so proud of her! Way to go Manon & Anna! June ran her retirement pairs with Emma! June has had an incredible Flyball career with lots to show for it! 🖤 June will continue to be a helper dog at practices.
We celebrated so many achievements over the weekend!! We are looking forward to being back in the racing lanes next month!

BT is headed home from a great weekend in St. Louis! We competed in the 2024 U-FLI Tournament of Champions and placed 3rd overall in Division 1! 🎉🥉
It was a successful weekend for us! Friday was our busiest day by far. Saber & Paisley ran singles, Sascha & June placed 2nd in Division 1 pairs, and we had our Dream Team which won 1st place in Division 1! Our green dogs & puppies got to make an appearance in the test flight lanes. We also welcomed Anna, Levi and their pack to the club! We are thrilled to have them join us!!
BOOM ran great all weekend with a few lineup changes. Abraxos came in clutch for us on Sunday and helped us a lot running some 3.5s in anchor! 💪 All of the BOOM dogs ran their hearts out and gave us their very best.
Dogs of the weekend go to Samurai and Paisley! Samurai ran every single Championship race, was consistent all weekend long with very few errors and even running some 3.5s late in the day on Sunday! 🔥 Paisley ran a new best time of 4.10 and placed 3rd in Division 3 singles! It was also her first time to attend U-FLI Champs!
We enjoyed seeing all of our long distance friends and watching some very competitive racing! Congratulations to Skidmarkz on their 1st place win and to our Texas friends Top Dog Racers for placing 2nd! Having two Texas teams in the top 3 was awesome!
Safe travels to everyone! See y’all in the lanes again next year!

Over the weekend we co-hosted the Champs Pregame Tailgate Party Tournament with our friends, RUSH Flyball Club! Thank you to those that stepped in last minute to run the table and to our judges and new apprentice judges!
At the tournament we welcomed Amber, Pete and their dog Egbert as well as Heidi and her dog Emma! BT is growing and we love all of our new members! 🖤🩷
On Saturday & Sunday we ran both of our teams BOOM & BANG, as well as several singles, preflights and pairs. Emma made her singles debut and did a great job in the lanes! At the awards ceremony on Saturday, Indi received her 20,000 points plaque! An incredible accomplishment for an incredible height dog!
Dog of the weekend goes to Samurai! She was burning up the lanes all weekend long, running full time on BOOM with very few errors. Great job Samurai & Bri!! 🎉
Wishing everyone the best as we all gear up for U-Fli Champs next month! See y’all in St. Louis!

Over the weekend BT attended the Houston World Series of Dog Shows at NRG stadium, one of our favorite flyball tournaments of the year! Thanks to Lone Star Ruffnecks for hosting and for the fun ribbons and prizes.
In between racing we got to watch a variety of other competitions. We got to cheer on Fang, Saber and Smitty at the dock diving event and Mando who placed 1st in barn hunt!
BOOM placed 1st in Open 1 with the fastest time of 14.586 over the weekend. Huge thanks to Randy on Special Fources Flyball Club for box loading for us!
BANG had several lineups during the tournament and placed 3rd in Open 2. Saber made her team debut running anchor for a few races on BANG! We are excited to have her join the lineup!
Dog of the weekend goes to Mando! He not only placed 1st in barn hunt but also ran almost every race on BANG as start dog and helped his team run a 15.880. He ran a new best L2L of 3.890! Way to go Mando & Doreen! 🎉
It was great seeing our friends in Houston. Congratulations on everyone’s achievements over the weekend.
We will be co-hosting the September tournament in Bonham. Hope to see y’all there!

Huge thanks to Prime Time Flyball for hosting the Summer Sizzler flyball tournament over the weekend. 🔥 The welcome gifts & prizes were very appreciated and BT scored a few things in the awesome raffle!
At the tournament we had several preflights, singles, pairs & ran both of our teams.
Sascha & June set a new best pairs time of 8.920! Sascha has made some really good progress in the lanes and loves to race!
Mando made his team debut running anchor on BANG and did a great job! It was also great to have Spell in the BANG lineup again!
Dogs of the weekend go to our BT brindle Whippets Saber & Paisley! They both had very successful singles debuts over the weekend! We are very proud of them and can’t wait to see them keep progressing!
Congratulations to Bri & Saber and Jennifer & Paisley! All of their hard work has really paid off!! 🎉🎉
Also a shoutout to our debut helper dogs Flare & Trauma! Trauma made her Re-debut showing back up in the lanes for one last tournament. She has retired again and will be an official BT puppy trainer at practices!
We will be in Houston next month competing in the Houston World Series of Dog Shows at the NRG stadium! Hope to see y’all there!

Over the weekend we co-hosted the Margarita Mania XVIII tournament with Hyper Flight Flyball Club & Top Dog Racers!
We are excited to announce that we welcomed our first out-of-town new member, Katlyn Stay! She has been extremely helpful at tournaments and we are happy to have her be a part of BT!
We ran a few pairs & singles on Saturday, both teams on Sunday, and preflight both days at the tournament. Thanks to everyone who helped us in the lanes and to our Hyper Flight friends for running a pickup team with us on Saturday!
Sascha made her pairs debut on Saturday with June and did an awesome job!
Our preflight Whippets, Saber & Paisley, looked great and will be making their singles debuts next month! 🤩
Dog of the weekend goes to Dobby who ran all weekend long with no errors and ran another 3.9 on the clock at the end of the day on Sunday! Way to go Dobby & Matthew Bell! 🎉
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Summer Sizzler tournament next month! 🔥

Huge thanks to OddBallz Flyball Club for hosting the first annual Oddstock tournament over the weekend! They did an awesome job keeping things fun and moving along quickly!
BOOM ran a few different lineups with the fastest time of 14.593 over the weekend.
BANG racked up more points and had very few errors all weekend long. Awesome job, BANGERS!
Our Preflight Whippets made more great progress in the lanes. They will be making their singles debuts in no time!
Our current singles dogs Mando & Sascha are solid and ready for their pairs debuts soon. Mando ran a new best time of 4.011 and Sascha is climbing up the Fastest Doberman Chart with a new best time of 4.463 ( #7 all-time)!
Dog of the weekend goes to Paisley who made amazing progress in the lanes and ran her first full run racing another dog And carrying her ball! 🌟 Great job, Jennifer & Paisley!
It was Puppy Season in Bonham! We enjoyed meeting all of the other new flyball puppies and future competition. 😜

Thank you to Special Fources Flyball Club for hosting the Winter Games 2024 Flyball Tournament over the weekend! It was great to be back in the racing lanes!
BOOM placed 1st in D1 on Saturday. Pizza joined the BOOM lineup and ran really well in the pack! A lot of our BOOM dogs made great progress and we are excited to continue that this year!
We also ran our B-team BANG, several singles, and preflights. Mando made his singles debut and it was very successful with a fastest time of 4.27! Congratulations to Mando & Doreen! Boots set a high bar for English Cocker Spaniels for 2024 and ran a new best time of 4.60!
Dog of the weekend goes to Trauma who ran her retirement race over the weekend. She had an amazing flyball career and was a legend in the lanes! She will continue to be a preflight helper and help out at practices going forward!
We enjoyed celebrating many achievements with our flyball community and look forward to seeing everyone again at the March tournament!
