We are out at Common Ground Games for their 10th Anniversary sale!!! Please come see us. We have kitties and art for raffle. We are also accepting donations. Come meet us and Olivia and Thackery!
It's official! We will be at Common Ground Games in Dallas on Saturday, May 6th, 11 AM until 6 PM.
We will have a table set up and will have kitties! Please come out and meet us and some of our adoptable babies to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Common Ground Games. We will also be accepting donations of food, litter or other supplies.
In addition, the store will be having their annual board game sale. This sale always draws out tons of people because they don't have many sales! Buy two games and get one free! So you could come meet and pet some kitties, maybe adopt one, and take home some new games. What's not to love about that?

We do not support declawing and our adoption contracts include that you will never declaw a cat adopted from us. It should be illegal!
Been wanting to meet one of our cats in person, but didn't know how to start? Good news, we are currently in collaboration with a local business to run a booth for a weekend. Located in the heart of Dallas, we will keep you guys up to date on details. Would be a perfect time for you guys to meet us, our kitties and our volunteers and get a feel for what we are all about.

Io has been a resident of The Witch's Hut for a little over a year. She started as a feral colony cat that wouldn't allow you to touch her to affectionate cuddle bug the moment I got some good scritchies behind her ear. Then a cold snap prompted me to bring her inside, and she decided rather quickly that indoor life was definitely for her and she has never once tried to leave. She became a pampered indoor baby and never looked back.
We have given her some time to adjust and learn some house manners as well as time for us to measure her personality.
Io is extremely affectionate and vocal. She is soft as a cloud to the touch and stunning. She is around 2 - 3 years old. The tip of one of her ears is snipped since she was fixed as a feral, but that hardly effects her beauty. She is tolerant of other cats though fine as a solitary feline. Her ideal feline companions would be of the gentle sort. She doesn't love dogs, but can grow used to them. Io is an expert at dealing with children as when they become too much for her she simply leaves. Pets and cuddles are welcome from all people of all ages and sizes by her and you would never know she used to never let anyone touch her with how enthusiastic she is to receive any pets now.

We have had kittens returned for being "too cuddly"! No joke! But that's fine. We will always take those babies back and find them a home that deserves them.

We never have a bug go unnoticed with as many organic bug-alarms in black fur we have walking around. We usually try to locate the bug-lar and put them back outside but occasionally they become a snack. 😬

Between 20ish fosters and 20ish outdoor ferals, this is how much cat food we go through in just a week.
This is why donations are so important! This doesn't show the wet food, vaccinations, dewormers, antibiotics, vet visits, medical equipment, flea prevention, and other associated supplies and costs.
Next week in honor of the New Year, we will be posting new donated items for sale on our Etsy shop and will be exchanging tarot card readings and birth chart readings for donations.

We are officially accepting applications for Scorpio and Pisces!
These two came to us awhile ago as little feral bags of bones. They were so skinny and so scared and so lethargic. But now they are the sweetest, happy little chunky kittens that purr like motors. They love cuddles and are very gentle cats and I think they would do well in any home type. They love each other but are not bonded, so I think they could go together or separately to new homes. They are both males.
Their adoption fee covers their neuter and all shots and they even come with a goodie bag of things they will need.

Please welcome these cute and feral babies to The Hut: LEO (orange tabby male), LIBRA (tortoise shell female), GEMINI (seal point male) and AQUARIUS (solid black male) will be ready to go to their new homes in a few weeks after being acclimated and brought back to full health.
These babies were found abandoned but we have no doubts that they will make full recoveries and be sweet little purr engines in no time.
