Let’s talk about allergens and air filters! As many of you know, I suffer from multiple allergens, including cats and dogs. 🙀 About three months ago I decided to purchase a couple air filters for our home of seven cats and two dogs. I really wasn’t sure if these things worked or not but today was time to change the three month air filter! This is not a paid/sponsored post. Please remember we are a one doctor practice with two support team members. We are doing the best we can with our small staff.

As we are getting busier it is becoming more difficult to get patients in on the same day, especially new clients. If we suggest an emergency visit, it is truly because that is the nature of the visit you are needing. We would love to help everyone right when they need it, but that is just not always possible.

📸 Did you know that your cellphone pictures can be extremely helpful to your veterinarian? This includes litterboxes, toys, bowls, 💩,🤮, etc. This client sent us a picture of her cat’s vomit, and as you can see it contains cat litter!
🚨Cats eating cat litter, Think ANEMIA 🚨
You can see the white speckles on the X-ray too (that’s cat litter).
This patient required an emergency Blood Transfusion due to his severe anemia. This cellphone picture helped with a quick diagnosis!

Pal wasn’t too thrilled with his bath and blowout, but he’s O, So Fresh, So Clean. We love using the when blowingout our patients. Here at Lonestar Feline we do not use cage dryers. Your cat is blown out by hand, every time. The happy hoodie helps muffle the noise of our high velocity dryer.
