🐾 The warranty on the QR passport is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
🐾 It applies to damage caused during operation if you have used the QR passport correctly: do not allow the animal to play with it, wear it regularly and constantly on the neck, and not in pockets or bags, for example.

Woof-woof, my tall, tailless friends! Today I want to tell you all about the identification of animals.

🐾 What is it?
This is the designation of an animal who has an owner.
🐾 Why identify?
Identification of a pet simplifies the rescue process if they ever get lost, makes the animal a full member of the international community, helps to overcome all available borders, and also legally protects the animal from cruelty.
🐾 How to do it?
We support humane methods of identifying animals which are painless and do not harm their health in any way! These methods include chipping and the QR pet tag, which can be used in tandem.
👉🏻 A rice grain-sized microchip made of hypoallergenic bioglass is injected under the skin of an animal. You can scan the chip with a special scanner which is available in veterinary hospitals and shelters, to access information about the animal and its owner,
👉🏻 A QR pet tag allows the animal to be registered into Animal ID’s international database. A QR pet tag also has a QR code, which can be scanned to find out the contact information of the animal’s owner, along with important information about the animal themselves (allergic reactions, vaccination history, etc.). Unlike the microchip which requires a special scanner, every smartphone owner can scan a QR pet tag by simply pointing their phone’s camera at it or using a special app.

Heroic tales about tailed heroes is becoming our favorite content to share!
We are looking for real stories and real photos which feature brave pets which we can share, so that the whole world can learn about these courageous and pawsionate protectors of people. For example, take a look at the winner of the Hero Dog Award of 2011 — Roselle! Here is what the owner had to say about her courage:

«On September 11, 2001, Roselle and I, a guide dog (for the blind), went to work at the World Trade Center on the 78th floor of the First Tower. That day the plane crashed into the building. From the very beginning, Roselle guided me and did a great job, because we approached the stairwell and went down the 1463 stairs. Leaving the building, we found ourselves across the road from the Second Tower when it collapsed. Despite the dust and chaos, Roselle remained calm and fully focused on her work. Because the debris fell around us and could injure. We found the entrance to the subway, where we escaped from heavy dust. Roselle worked flawlessly that day. She saved my life and is truly the greatest dog hero of all. »

These are the golden rules for life from Animal ID. After all:
❌ The QR code doesn’t work and cannot be scanned without prior activation
❌ The animal is not entered in the international registration database if the QR pet tag is not activated
❌ You cannot use the online profile for owner and pet, as well as the Animal ID app, without first activating your QR pet tag!

So, it makes purrfect sense to active your brand new QR pet tag as soon as you pick it up. To do this, take the following simple steps:
✔️ Go to animal-id.net and click on the green button which says ""Register Animal""
✔️ Enter your pet’s microchip info and click the blue button which says ""Activate QR Pet Tag"". Enter the passport number and activation code (they are indicated on the sticker on the booklet)
✔️ Enter the main data about your pet in the database
✔️ And now, enter info about yourself. This ensures that, if your pet gets lost, the person who finds them can contact you ASAP!
✔️ Check that all the information is correct and confirm registration by email!

What are the benefits of a QR pet tag?
💚 If a pet gets lost, they will quickly find their way home: as soon as someone scans the QR code, the owner will immediately receive an e-mail with their best frens geolocation. Pawesome! Me, the adult and very brave doggo Rover, shed a tear while reading the news.
⠀
Why? Because a 10-year-old boy created a fund to protect the lives of police dogs!
Two years ago, Brady Snakowski from Ohio noticed that police dogs do not receive bulletproof vests, despite facing just as much danger as their hooman counterparts. So, the boy and his mother decided to set up Brady’s K9 Fund, to raise money for bulletproof vests for those heroic floofy officers!

It all started when the boy watched the movie ""K-9"", starring James Belushi, about a policeman and his dog. Brady was surprised that the dog had no protection, and decided to correct this situation immediately on his own! 💪🏻

During the two years of the Foundation's work, Brady was able to raise more than $315,000 and provide 257 dogs with bulletproof vests. He has supplied animal vests to 23 states in the USA, Canada, and even Afghanistan! Isn't it fantastic?

Have you ever wondered how to properly shelter a stray dog and help them get used to you, and their new home?🐕 Here are some good tips!

🐾 What should a hooman do first, after they save an animal from the street?
It is advisable to take the animal to a veterinarian immediately, on the first or second day. The specialist will examine the animal, determine their general condition, as well as provide recommendations for care and feeding.

🐾 Does the animal need to quarantine, and how long should it last?
Puppies will need to be quarantined: they are vaccinated in several stages, so to prevent immune problems, they are not advised to go outside during this period.
⠀
🐾 If an animal is scared or stressed, what should be done to help them adapt to new conditions?
If the dog is timid and unfamiliar with you, you should give them time to become familiar with you – do not try to pet your pup when they are in a state of stress. Instead, you should consult a specialist to determine the reasons why the dog is feeling stressed, and let them give you guidance about how you can help your dog feel more comfortable.

🐾 What needs to be done to legally secure ownership of a homeless animal?
First, report the finding to local authorities and register the animal at the place of residence.
Second, take the dog to the vet, and receive all the necessary vaccinations (and schedule future vaccinations). Make a veterinary passport and chipping.
Third, be sure to purchase a QR passport and enter all the necessary information about your pet into the Animal ID database, so the dog can be identified in case of an escape.

Remember that your pup will take at least 2-3 weeks to adapt to their new life. Be calm, and approach them with understanding and love. Expect that, at first, they may not know or want to learn commands, and could refuse food and play. Let your dog find their place in their new home in their own time; with love, and the oversight of a veterinarian and a dog trainer, the pup will come out of their shell And, with a little patience, your new doggo will become your bestest, most faithful friend 💚

Behold, a tale of floofy bravery from Brazil:

One sunny morning, Osmar Persisco took his tailed friend Max to a field training session. Together, they played with a ball, learned new commands, and were having fun and keeping to themselves. Suddenly, armed robbers approached them. The thieves started demanding car keys, and when Osmar refused, they started firing weapons. But bestest boy Max would not tolerate such terrible treatment of his hooman!

He attacked the thieves to protect his friend. The first thief immediately fled, and the second managed to shoot the dog in the chest and leg before running away, too. Thankfully, the rescued owner immediately took his heckin incredible buddy to the vet, where he was successfully cured of his injuries.
⠀
Max is a real hero, and one of the most faithful doggos in the world. Osmar and Max love each other so much, they will protect each other from everything – even the scariest bad guys! 🐶
We are proud of Max, and advise everyone to have a tailed friend. When we’re around a doggo, hoomans have their faith restored in goodness and love. ❤️

One day, someone asked me if it’s possible to register their tailed fren in the database, even though they don’t have a QR pet tag. And I figured out the answer! It turns out that hoomans haven’t learned to recognise the prints of the nose, paws or tail of their floofy pals. Seems like you can only identify a lost animal by their individual chip number or QR pet tag!

So, remember: first you buy a QR pet tag, and then you are registered in the database. After these two steps, you can confidently walk through life with your four-legged friend. 💚

I heard someone say that Frida is an artist. Silly hooman! I, Rover the Dog, know for sure that Frida is actually a seven-year-old labrador, a member of the Mexican Navy rescue squad, and a social media superstar.

During her impressive career, Frida has personally found 12 people who were alive and trapped under rubble! 🙌🏻 With her sensitive nose and unwavering courage, Frida has served people during earthquakes in Ecuador and southern Mexico, a landslide in Guatemala, and after the gas explosion in Mexico City. This heroic dog also took part in a rescue operation to save children and adults who were trapped under the rubble of a school in southern Mexico. Eleven children were rescued that day thanks to the work of a rescue team.

In a year, Frida will retire and serve only her bestest hooman. But even in her retirement, we will not forget her bravery, and will talk about her accomplishments for years to come! Woof-woof! 🐕
