Today, we pay tribute to the incredible canine heroes who served alongside their human counterparts in the search and rescue efforts during the heart-wrenching days following September 11, 2001.
One of those brave souls was Riley, the golden retriever seen above, who brought hope and comfort amidst the rubble of the Twin Towers.
