Daisy Update 🌼

At the beginning of the month, we shared the unfortunate news of our own dog. Daisy had become paralyzed from the mid back-down. We rushed her to the vet and she was diagnosed with IVDD and was given immediate back surgery.

After surgery, Daisy was given a 90% full recovery rate. Before and after the store is open, our time is spent focusing on Daisy’s recovery. We focus on her stretches, manually express her bladder, provide medication on a strict schedule, etc. She currently spends most of her time in her kennel or on the couch with us while she heals.

Daisy still isn’t able to walk, but she definitely tries to! We’ve been relying on the small signs of improvement in the meantime. If we tickle her toe hair on her back feet, she’ll try to kick our hands away and her feet twitch. When he pick up her back half to help with stretches, she is now starting to extend her back legs on her own.

We appreciate everyone who’s come into our pet store to wish Daisy a speedy recovery. Her spunky personality has come back, but we’re trying our best to adjust to our new normal until she’s back to her physical self. It’s so hard to watch her go through this. She’s such a high energy and adventurous spirit, we can tell this has been hard on her.

We are thankful for everyone’s support, with our unexpected store closures, while we continue to take care of Daisy. Her vet appointments are in Portland, taking up the majority of our day. We never take store closures lightly, we understand that your pets also rely on us for their food and supplies.

Thank you for following Daisy’s journey! Your support, kindness and understanding during this time means so much to us!

You can find Japanese and English Pokémon cards in our store! We have a new shipment arriving next week, that will include Pokémon tins and ETB boxes.

Originally, we started with a sticker machine that offered stickers, tattoos and Pokémon cards. It became increasingly difficult for us to keep the Pokémon card slot stocked, because we were selling out! We’ve been asked multiple times if we could carry the un-opened packs, so we provided an outlet for those looking to stock up on cards.

We kindly ask that you follow the Kujo’s Kollectables LLC page. My wife, Krystle, runs the page with updates on our Pokémon stock for those that are interested.

We’ve also stocked EVERYTHING BLAINE LIKES with unopened Japanese and English packs. They cards are located in the glass case by their front counter, we highly encourage you to check out their shop!
