🎆 Happy 4th of July from Melody! 🎆

Melody is all dressed up in her patriotic gear and still looking for her forever home! While we celebrate, let’s also remember to keep our furry friends safe during the fireworks.

🐾 Firework Safety Tips:
1️⃣ Secure Your Home: Keep gates and doors closed to prevent escapes. Create a quiet, safe space for your pets indoors. 🏠

2️⃣ Noise Control: Play soft music or turn on the TV to help drown out the fireworks. Use enrichment toys like stuffed Kongs, Licky Mats, and Snuffle Mats to keep them occupied. 🎵🎥

3️⃣ Identification: Make sure your pets are wearing collars with up-to-date ID tags and that their microchip information is current. 🏷️

4️⃣ Prevent Flight Risk: Keep pets in a secure environment and avoid opening doors frequently. 🚪

5️⃣ Preparation: Walk your dog earlier in the day before the fireworks start. Have calming treats and toys ready. 🐾

6️⃣ Safety Gear: Consider using anxiety wraps or calming vests for extra comfort. 💖
