I’ve got to tell you something. Mom said she watched the Ring cameras last night and saw what I did during the eclipse. Just when it started I went home but couldn’t get inside. I went back and stood looking up at mom the rest of the time. She didn’t see me because she was looking through her camera. I wanted her to explain what was going on.
Got to see totality during the eclipse today. The other dogs and I got quiet and still. The birds stopped singing. The temperature dropped and the wind stopped. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience for me!
Wishing you a happy summer in February in Dallas. It was 94 degrees yesterday and 83 today. Mom has been in shorts for a week. That is a lot different from February 2021 and even this January. That’s what killed all of our vines on the brick wall.
By the way, even though I almost died before my Atypical Addison’s disease was diagnosed, I’m doing great and feeling like a puppy at 10 years old. I plan to outlive my life expectancy by a lot!
I think this little cutie got over her fear that I’m so big. I thought she was going to try to ride me!

Met this lovely lady yesterday at the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival. She was great, but unfortunately, the bluebonnets weren’t this year. Not enough rain. It was still good to be out and about!
SUPPLY CHAIN PROBLEMS! My side of the electric recliner went out a couple of months ago and there are no parts to fix it due to supply chain problems. I’ll sure be glad when the world returns to normal! Don’t worry, I have another recliner but I like this one best.

It’s going to be over 80° in Dallas today, so I decided to post this picture from a more Christmasy time. I want you all to know that I am doing well and am quite stable now. It has been a rough time since I was diagnosed with atypical Addison’s disease. I put on 30 pounds since June due to the steroids, but I’ve been on a diet and lost six pounds last month and hope to do the same this month. Since I’m feeling so much better, mom is letting me go and do more. Last weekend I got to see friends I hadn’t seen in two years due to the pandemic and my illness. It was great!

I’m so happy! This is my first vacation since I was diagnosed with atypical Addison’s disease. It’s great to be with my friends and in nature again. Mom’s had to adjust my medication because vacationing causes good stress. And, yes, that’s a ball in my mouth.
I want to say thank you to all my friends, particularly my doctors at Katy Trail Animal Hospital. I have been very ill. I was unable to eat or drink for about 10 days. My neighbors cooked special food for me and even threw a “doggie dinner party” for me but I couldn’t eat. Sure enjoyed being with my friends though. That’s love! Mom was taking me to the doctor constantly and they said I was in kidney and liver failure, but couldn’t figure out why. Mom had been taking me to the doctor a lot in the past year and a half because I just wasn’t myself. All the tests looked normal. Mom began to think I was depressed because I couldn’t go with her everywhere when the pandemic hit. She told me that I came within about two days of not making it. Fortunately Dr. Gloria Johnson figured out I have Atypical Addison’s disease. She gave me steroids and bunch of other meds and I’m back! I’m on my way to being myself again. I’ll have to take medicine the rest of my life, but I’ll have a normal life! Thank you all for your concern!

This little guy is Turtle Fisher. He’s only 6 months old and is a wild man! We play every day.

I don’t know what I’d do without Dog TV during the pandemic!
First, Happy New Year! Second, I LOVE Dog TV! During the pandemic I’ve gotten bored since I rarely go anywhere. Mom got me Dog TV and I watch it every day.
Mom got her vaccination today! It was so uplifting to get it. I am a health care worker too but they wouldn’t let me get one.
Mom has made me isolate most of the time during the pandemic, but she made an exception today and boy, was it fun! I got to meet this precious girl!
Playing ball is a good way to start the day!
I just love these beautiful fall mornings at the lake. There is a lot to be grateful for today!
I forgot to post this picture last weekend. Is this a great campfire or what? I had so much fun!
I got to eat a Fletcher’s corny dog today at the State Fair! I also got two stuffed animals and got to spend time with my grandmother.
