We’re hiring! I am 32 weeks pregnant and am beginning to prepare for the birth of my son! In doing so, I will be hiring help to cover the store while I am out on maternity leave.

This will be short term work as I will hopefully not need to maintain staff once my maternity leave is over. In saying that, this position will go through mid December through end of January.

I am due December 17th, but the start date will depend on when baby boy decides to make his arrival! Again, I would ideally like to remain out through January.

Our store hours are 10am - 6pm. The idea candidate would be able to cover that entire shift, but I can hire multiple people if necessary to cover the full shift. We are open Tuesday - Saturday.

The ideal candidate:
- Can work some or all of Tuesday-Saturday
- Can work 10am - 6pm
- Has retail experience
- Is confident under pressure (the holiday season is busy!)
- Loves dogs!!!! 🐶
- Can handle the “chew bar” (duck heads, chicken feet, and tracheas aren’t for everyone)
- Can listen to Christmas music 8 hours/day ;)

Duties would include:
- Greeting customers
- Working the cash register
- Tidying / cleaning during down time
- Unboxing product, printing barcodes & restocking shelves

Once again, this position will not start until December and the date depends on when baby boy decides to make his appearance! This role may be perfect for a college student on break, as it will only last through January (~6 weeks). I will have whoever is hired come in 2-3 times in November to train (paid of course!).

This Friday downtown Dallas will have our bi-annual night market in the square, followed by the moonlit movie: Sweet Home Alabama! Tons of local vendors, fresh baked bread, home grown flowers, and so much more 🙂
