I’m haven’t been active cuz our garden is under construction and I didn’t want to have hens with all these 108 degree summers. I’ll be back with chicken and gardening soon.

Chickens are modern day dinosaurs! 😂 Skin impressions from Dino fossils look identical to chickens feet skin. TRex was bipedal and so are chickens. Scientific evidence shows several Dinosaurs had air sacks. I wonder if Dinos crowed in the mornings! 😂😂

It’s that time again! I love preparing for Spring- I get to choose what food we need, want and gift!
Since brassicas are a vital part of medical Keto, I’ll be focusing on growing things we eat that will protect our body and mind.

I lost ALOT in September! I lost my grandma, I lost my hens to a bobcat, my truck was stolen and we are a one car family. 😬 It’s been tough and with the war in Gaza, I was avoiding social media. It’s too difficult to watch people suffering… overseas and within my whole family.

We’ve always been focused on growing vegetables in recent years, tried roses and doing well with our 2nd season of sunflowers BUT these Zinnias are so prolific!!! They will be a staple in the garden from now on! What looks just as beautiful but smells amazing?

“We’re back in the tub again”
These little chicks are growing fast but I jumped the gun moving them outside. It turns out the chick crib isn’t pest proof 😬🤭🐭 so we have to make some adjustments. They are big enough to jump out but “choose” to stay in! lol My crazy little bunch will soon have all their primary feathers and in a few wks can stay with the big hens but for now, they’ll continue to chill indoors.
