Calling all bird nerds!
I received this cockatiel to clean and as i processed him I realized the bottom jaw wasn't fully developed.
I have some photos of him in-life (last images). I was wondering if anyone had a more educated guess of how this occurred? When cleaned, the bottom beak was in two separate pieces.

Look at the teeth on this guy!
Bearded dragons are named after the thick scales surrounding their neck, or "beard" area. When they get mad, the scales expand, creating a pretty intimidating look!

Did you know that an adult green basilisk can have a tail length of 25 inches long, which makes up for more than half of the lizards total length?

Tried my hand at articulating a headshot yearling doe, very happy with the results.
This fawn was unfortunately found stuck impaled on a fence and had to be euthanized due to its injuries. She was sent to me to be cleaned and will return home shortly. 💜🖤

Looking for a fun articulation project with extra pieces?
I purchased this Tanuki (Japanese Raccoon Dog) from a Dutch auction site last year and never got around to articulating it. It was ethically sourced as far as I'm aware and appears to be roadkill due to some smashed vertebre and front legs.
From what Ive been told, all the pieces ARE here, it just has to be reconstructed by someone who knows more than I do, as I could only get a few vertebre back together.
⚠️ (be aware that because I can't put the pieces back together I'm unable to confirm all the pieces are present, so PLEASE only buy if you're willing to take the chance of it being incomplete. There's a bag of broken pieces being sent with the skeleton so you can try and put as much of it back together as possible.)
Includes claw sheathes and bacculum (if I can find it 🙃)
These animals are rare to come across in the US as they are not native here, and the ones that are sold are usually illegally imported and not processed well, usually boiled and greasy.
I don't remember how much I paid for the skeleton, but I had to get it imported, so that's being considered in the price.

Eclectus Parrot and Lovebird.
These two lovlies were sent to us for full skeletal cleaning. The lovebird will be sent back to the rescue she came from, and the eclectus will be staying in our personal collection.

I got the honor of working on this loved eclectus parrot from a bird rescue!
I was not given the name of this bird, but I know his history. Before being surrendered to the rescue, this male eclectus parrot was neglected and on a seed based diet. Eclectus parrots' diets should consist of mainly fruits, vegetables and pellets, so this caused malnutrition and plucking from stress. When he arrived at the rescue, he struggled during the transition to a more nutritional diet, and the years of neglect had already caused irreparable harm to him.He will be honored with a full articulated skeleton.
