My name is Andrea Stone, previously founder at Heatherstone Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Worth Texas area metroplex. I have owned and loved Rhodesian Ridgebacks for a little over 20 years. In 2011, I obtained a ridgeback puppy from Vyrtuous Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Since that time, I have competed and traveled the country participating in conformation, lure coursing and a variety of other sports that focus

on showcasing this amazing breed. I have met some wonderful people during my travels and learned everything possible regarding the health, well-being, and husbandry of my beloved Ridgebacks. Prior to starting Zanata, I worked with a friend and together we founded Heatherstone Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Many of the dogs showcased in the following pages are a product of the hard work and commitment we both had when hearing about our mentors retirement. When our mentor retired and subsequently passed, Heatherstone was born to carry on the vision of Vyrtuous, breeding Ridgebacks with a focus on temperament, health, conformation, and performance, while bringing in our own ideas and following the breed standard set forth by the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS). The Heatherstone dogs produced with our joint efforts are continuing to be show and showcased in the show and lure coursing community. They are the foundation of what is to come and I continue to be proud and humbled by everything that has been accomplished in the last four years with the help of some dedicated friends and family that supported us along the way. I am a current member in good standing with RRCUS and the Trinity Valley Rhodesian Ridgeback Club. In addition, I am also a AKC Bronze Breeder of Merit. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Celebrating our first 2 Champions from the Fia x Flynn litter! Both finished their AKC Championship before their first birthday. Go Denny and Visa! I look forward to what this next year holds for you two!

We are celebrating 2 new champions to start out the year! After missing the first 2 days of Texarkana we hauled butt to the show for an 8 a.m. ring time. Justice (Teegan x Banjo) knocked it out of the park and was winners dog, best of winners for a 5 point major! Ziva (Zara x Moyo) was winners bitch for her last major win which we have been chasing for forever it seems! Super proud of these two and their humans who let me showcase them to the fancy!

Ziva picked up her first major in Conroe last weekend! This pretty girl lacks one major to finish up! Cant wait to play with her again in early 2023.

Its AKC approved! NILLA finished her Championship title in Guthrie Oklahoma by going winners bitch for her last point. I am looking forward to showing her at the National this year in the breed ring! Introducing

Im a little late on this post while waiting on win photos, but our crew had a wonderful trip to Lake Charles Louisiana last weekend!

Thursday-
Jasper (Bling x Zeus) -Best of Breed, owner habdled Group 2

Friday-
Sonora (Zara x Moyo)- Winners Bitch, 4 point major
Justice (Teegan x Banjo) - winners dog, best of winners, 4 point major
Jasper - select, Owner Handled G1 and OH Best in Show!

Saturday-
Nilla (Cameo x Prince) - winners bitch, 4 point major
Cora ( Addie x Ikaika) - Best of Breed, Owner Handled Group 1, Regular Group 2! Her first group placement.
Jasper - Best Opposite S*x

Sunday -
Sonora - winners bitch for her 2nd 4 point major and NEW CHAMPION!
Justice - reserve to the major
Cora - Best of Breed
Jasper - select dog

We had a heck of a time sitting by the pool trying to stay cool! Erin, Amanda, Janet you gals rock! Thank you to all the judges that found our crew!

We are celebrating 2 NEW Field champions this weekend!! Sonora knocked it out of the park by going BOB back to back ok Sat and Sunday for 5 point majors! She finished her FCH in just 2 weekends. Nilla was not far behind taking 2nd place to the major to wrap up her FCH in just 2 weekends also.

The rest of our pack had lots of fun also:
Storm - 1st place veterans Both days
Zoey - passed her QC
Cora - passed 1 leg of her JC!
Justice - first trial in the books! That means he was slow and learned to use his body but he had tons of fun.
Bling - well she ran in true Blingers fashion, entertaining us all and getting lots of applause fm the crowd watching due to her creative predictability!

We have a new champion! Alamo - CH Heatherstone Come and Take it! (Bling x Legend) Finished his championship this weekend in Claremore, Oklahoma by going Best of Breed from the classes for a 4 point major under judge Edmond Dziuk. This boy has been super fun to pilot to his Championship title and we are super proud of this silly and handsome boy! Now to finish health testing!

ALAMO - Heatherstone Come and Take it! (Bling x Legend) - This handome boy is with me out showing and doing all the fun stuff! Happy to report in 7 days of showing in Kerrville and Navasota he was Winners Dog all 4 days of shows (best of winners 2 days). He also took winners dog 2 out of 3 days down in Navasota. We are almost pointed out and seeking his last major. He moves like a dream and has such a fun personality! Slowly knocking off some health testing as well! Time to rest, play and enjoy being lazy until the Ft. Worth shows this weekend.
