We have a graduate today and his name is Charlie. He is a 2-year-old Giant Schnoodle that finished his obedience training. This poor pup was previously with owners in California that did not know how to handle him because he got so big, so they kept him mostly crated. His current family had Charlie transported to Texas where he is now in a much better home where he is much loved. Charlie might look like a big scary dog, but he is very sweet. Congratulations Charlie!

We have a couple of sweet boys that graduated their obedience training today. Both are approximately 15 months old and did wonderfully with training. Brownie is Anatolian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees mix, and Scout is a Great Pyrenees mix. These boys were found roaming the countryside and found by this very nice couple. Brownie and Scout were possibly dumped and left to fend for themselves. These boys now have a great home and getting all the love and structure they need. Congratulation Brownie and Scout!

No matter the weather, dogs need exercise, and that is no different for my lab Sunshine. Here we are around 7:30 this morning walking in 15-degree weather, with wind chill at -2 degrees, and a light dusting of snow coming down. Luckily, I have clothes for this kind of weather, except for my face. Brrr!

This sweet boy is a Pit mix named Donald, and he is today's graduate. Donald is 2 years old, and he has had a rough life. He was abused and malnourished from the previous owner, then stuck in a shelter for a long time. Donald was rescued from the shelter and is now living in a home with a foster who recognized that this boy needed some guidance before he can be placed in another home. He is now a better-behaved boy who is looking for his forever home. Congratulations Donald on your training and good luck on finding a new home!

This handsome Jack Russell Terrier is Sparky, and he is today's graduate. Sparky is 3 years old and has graduated his obedience training.
