We had another wonderful weekend full of fun & dock diving accomplishments at Dallas Diving Dogs. We need to thank our judges for withstanding the Texas heat to judge all of our dogs: Carie Turner, Ashley Peterson, Patrick O’Connor & Iris Haines. Our volunteers worked hard getting everything prepared & keeping everything rolling! Special thanks to Lori Corcoran for getting everyone checked in,
answering questions & keeping everyone pointed in the right direction. Also not to be forgotten, Tori Goggans, Pam Manahan, Debbie Cooper Patterson, Rachel Howe, Natalie Long, Vonda Spinks, Kim Cadmus Owens, Lily Smith-Kirkley and our participants who made the weekend a huge success. Dallas Diving Dogs May Kick Off trial is in the books!! THANK YOU to everyone who participated & enjoyed the weekend with us. As we all know, our events are successful because of our many dedicated volunteers. First thanks to our set up & break down crew: Tori Goggins, Pam Manahan, Alexandria Anderle, Tamra Mason, Joellen Walter, Rachel Howe & Kenneth White. Thank you Lori Corcoran for checking everyone in, our judges: Carie Turner, Patrick O’Conner & Iris Haines, & Debbie Patterson for entering our scores & keeping track of everyone’s ribbons!

While many were doing FastCat or Agility,
Remy & I were experiencing some ICKC exposure. She did great & learned a lot. Special thanks to Main Street Giant Schnauzers, Mary Eastep Brooks, (& Tim) for joining us. Lesley Noack & Cesley Ray Gordon, is was so good to see you both. Thank you Verjean Lunenschloss for helping us get ready!

What a weekend at the Lone Star State Classic dog show! The boys out did themselves. Sky Acres Leaving on a Jet Plane - Jet finished his Championship in just 3 shows & CH Sky Acres Morning Wings Take Flight - Blu is 1 pt away from his Grand CH after 2 shows. We couldn’t have done this without all the help from Jan Koepfgen Bruner & Michele Akin Hosey. The support from all the terv people was awesome as well as the members of the Dog Training Club Of Dallas County Inc. We are so excited to plan our next adventure & look forward to seeing everyone then!

Hard to believe it’s been a week since the Glen Rose show. What a successful weekend the boys had! CH Sky Acres Morning Wings take Flight (Blu) received 2 Best of Breeds & Best of Opposite (pts toward his Grand!!). We finished his Rally Novice title with 100 pts, 1st place; and proceeded to Intermediate for his first Q (90 pts). Then for Sky Acres Leaving on a Jet Plan (Jet). Jet was awarded Best Of Winners 2x. Dog shows take a village. We must thank Michele Akin Hosey who took Jet
In the ring when both boys were in together. We had such a great time training for this.
And thanks to our other terv owners for holding & helping with armband #’s & changes & helping us know when to “get in there”!

What a great time at Waco Agility Group’s agility trial! Everyone was supportive, helpful & understanding to our green dogs, first time agility competitors & even to us older competitors “still trying”. After our dock diving season came to an end, we switched to agility & this was the first trial for several competitors & their dogs. This was Opal’s first trial & she got 4 Q’s, Opal’s sister, Oxy got 3 Q’s handled by Debbie Cooper Patterson, Kellie got 3 Q’s & achieved 2 titles. Everyone was very successful & learned a lot. Congratulations to all!
