❗Place ❗

I believe there are four basic skills that any good dog needs. That includes Here, Heel, Sit, and Place.

Teaching a dog place means that you can send them to a spot and they will stay on that spot until they are asked to do something else. This is an extremely useful tool anytime I am out with my dogs.

I believe there are four basic skills that any good dog needs. That includes Here, Heel, Sit, and Place.

A good sit/stay keeps the dog in one spot while you try to do something else. I use this all the time when I am out with the dogs to help keep them safe while I cannot give them my full attention.
