Today is Check the Chip Day!🐾

Did you know that microchipping can make a huge difference in reuniting lost pets with their families? An SPCA study found that dogs without microchips were returned home only 2.2% of the time, but when they had a microchip, that number jumped to 52.2%! For cats, it was even more dramatic—just 1.8% of cats without a chip made it back to their owners, compared to a whopping 38.5% with a chip. Simply put, microchipped pets are over 20 times more likely to find their way back to you.
