We’re kicking off 2025 with an exciting YP event you won’t want to miss! Join us on Sunday, January 26th, from 1–4 PM at the SPCA of Texas’ Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212).

🌟 What’s in store?
🐶 Connect & Collaborate: Meet fellow YPs and learn how we’re making a difference for animals this year.
💡 Be Inspired: Hear from SPCA of Texas leaders about our life-saving work and how you can get involved.
🎓 Hands-On Fun: Optional volunteer training (2–4 PM) to prep for our amazing Borrow-A-Buddy (BAB) outings with shelter dogs!

🕒 Important Details:
• 1–2 PM: Mandatory for YP members – Introductions, leadership updates, and program details.
• 2–4 PM: Optional but awesome! – Volunteer orientation, dog handling training, light bites, drinks, and networking.

UPDATE: The SPCA of Texas is proud to work with Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center and many other organizations as a partner with the City of Dallas - City Hall to set up pet care for guests of the inclement weather warming center at Fair Park. The City has also opened two other pet and people warming centers, one at the Old Austin Street Shelter on Hickory St and the other at the Tower Building at Fair Park.

We are stocking these warming centers with blankets for dogs and cats and have just about run through our current supplies.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Gently used towels and blankets will go a long way to help keep pets in our community safe during this extremely cold weather.

Drop off for donations is our Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lonestar Dr, 75212). We're open daily from noon to 6 p.m. If you come outside those hours, please place in trash bags and leave them at our front door.
