🐾 Welcome Home for Wilbur!! 🐕💖

Wilbur’s journey is one of hope, resilience, and the love of a family that never gave up on him. 💕 Back in September Wilbur slipped out of his yard and ended up at animal control who eventually transferred him to the SPCA of Texas.

But his family worked tirelessly refusing to give up hope on finding their beloved dog.

Weeks later, their perseverance paid off—they found Wilbur listed for adoption on our website, but he had just gone to a Foster-to-Adopt home! 🐶

Thanks to a wonderful foster family who happily helped reunite the family, Wilbur is now back home where he belongs! ❤️🏡

This story is a powerful reminder of the importance of microchipping your pets and keeping that information up to date. Shelters everywhere are full, and microchips can be the key to making reunions like Wilbur’s happen faster and easier.

We're happy to announce the 34th annual Home for the Holidays at NorthPark Center!

The festivities have officially kicked off with the 10th annual Bark and Build Luxury Dog House and Cat Condo Design/Build Competition.

Twenty unique, state-of-the-art dog houses and cat condos are on display at NorthPark Center on Level One between Dillard's and Macy's. These one-of-a-kind pet houses have been designed and built by members of the American Institute of Architects Dallas Chapter (AIA Dallas ) and TEXO, The Construction Association.

You can bid online until 8 p.m. December 8, 2024, and win your favorite home! Proceeds of this auction benefit the animals the SPCA of Texas serves.

You can also support by donating to vote for your favorite luxury pet home as the 2024 Bark + Build Top Dog Winner! The winner will be announced at the Bark + Build Awards party on December 8.
