Meet Boss, the charismatic 3-year-old male golden retriever mix who's ready to become the heart and soul of your family. At 94 pounds, he's not just big in size but also in heart. With his sleek tan coat adorned with striking white paws, a white tip of his tail, and a charming white chest, Boss is a true head-turner. His soulful eyes are the window to a gentle and loving soul.

Boss may be a bit shy at first, but give him some treats and watch him warm up to you in no time. He's a sweet, playful dog who thrives on attention and affection. Whether it's a game of fetch, a leisurely walk on the leash, or simply cuddling on the couch, Boss is always eager to spend quality time with his family.

One of Boss's standout qualities is his obedience; he knows the "sit" command like a pro. This makes him not only an affectionate companion but also an easy-to-train addition to your household.

Boss is the perfect mix of active and laid-back. While he enjoys long walks and playtime, he's also a bit of a couch potato, making him adaptable to any lifestyle. He's a true family dog, ready to shower your home with love, loyalty, and warmth.

Don't miss the opportunity to make Boss a part of your family. His big heart and loving nature will fill your home with joy and laughter.

Skip and Speckle are two of the cutest kitties you will ever meet! Both being black and white domestic shorthairs with gorgeous green eyes, you’d think they were brother and sister!

Although that’s not the case, they are pair bonded—best of friends that need to be adopted together.

Speckle has a tiny pink nose and a little black goatee! Weighing in at six pounds, this two-year-old sweetie is a little shy and is looking for a calm home and a patient family.

Skip has two puffy white cheeks that stand out from his all black face. He’s the same size as Speckle but is five and a half years old. He’s also looking for that quiet home where the humans understand a little patience will go a long way toward gaining Skip’s confidence.

Speckle and Skip were made for each other and together they will thrive in a home where everyone is older than 15.

Come and meet Skip and Speckle any day of the week from Noon to 6 p.m. at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Drive). Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Speckle and Skip have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and are current on all their necessary vaccines.

Say hello to Dually, an energetic and spunky two-year-old male Blue Heeler mix who is looking for his forever home. He’s at the SPCA of Texas waiting for you.

Dually has a mostly black coat with a beautiful salt and pepper chest and neck. And those eyes. So dark and sincere, they look right through you!

He’s done great on Borrow A Buddy weekends! Dually gets right in the car, loves meeting other people and other dogs, and he is especially good at basic commands such as sit and stay.

He has a lot of energy so Dually would love a home with an active lifestyle so that he can release those zoomies. Dually loves to go on long walks and would adore a secure backyard where he can run to his heart’s desire! Plus, there’s no bigger fan of the splash pool than this guy!

Dually's good with human kiddos and would do well with a doggie playmate in his new home, so bring the whole family to meet him before you adopt.

Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Dually has been neutered, microchipped and is current on all his necessary vaccines. He is waiting for his forever home at our Dallas Animal Care Center, so come to meet him any day of the week from Noon to 6 p.m., at 2400 Lone Star Drive in Dallas. Leash walks? She's a total pro, strolling by your side with a heart full of joy. Daisy's a true social butterfly, happy to take treats from anyone. And while she's a bit coy with other dogs, rest assured she's a friend in the making.

At almost three years old, Creed is a roly-poly barrel of fun! He gets so excited when he sees his familiar people and dog friends that he shakes and shimmies his 61 pounds in delight!

Creed, a terrier pit bulldog mix, loves playing in the water and spends lots of time in his puppy pool! He plays well with other dogs and walks well on a leash, and especially enjoys taking long walks in nature. Creed is happy go lucky kind of guy, chasing birds and squirrels. However, he's not a great fan of car rides.

He can be a little shy around kids so as long as they can go slow until he gets to know them, they should be rolling around in puddles together in no time! Creed would like a family with older children—five years and up.

Even with his underbite, Creed has a beautiful smile! His stocky body is mostly white with flecks of black and he has a large black spot on his back, his tail is half black and half white, and his ears have some black on them, too. Creed isn’t an inside barker and doesn’t tear things up in the home. Truth be told, he’s an inside couch potato!

Creed is eager to become a loving member of a forever family. Make an appointment to meet him today! He’s waiting for you!

The Dallas Animal Care Center is open to the public seven days a week 12-6 p.m. Appointments are required for you to meet Creed. Please visit his profile on the SPCA of Texas website to learn more about him and make an appointment at https://spca.org/adoptable/creed/.

Through the end of July, all adult animal adoptions—animals six months and older, which includes Creed—are only $25 at the SPCA of Texas’ Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Drive, 75212) and the Ellis County Animal Care Center ( 2570 FM Road 878 Waxahachie, TX 75165).

Just like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, Creed has been neutered, microchipped and has had all his age-appropriate vaccines.

This sweet Senior of 7 1/2 years is a laid back couch potato who loves his people. As an 84-pound, mixed Terrier/Pitt Bulldog, he will go anywhere with you! Zeus is great in the car and very social out in public. If you want a dog you can take anyplace, Zeus is your guy!

Meet Mr. Freckles! It only takes one look at his big, goofy grin and you know this is a fun dog to have around. Mr. Freckles is a Pointer mix who is 4 years old and weighs in at 65 pounds. He is covered in a spotted white coat with brown patches. He loves to make new friends and hang out with humans, whom he finds very amusing. While he is a large and energetic pooch, Mr. Freckles is reported to have some of the best leash-walking skills ever. At the end of the day, he’ll be more than happy to snuggle up for movie night. Mr. Freckles is housed at the Dallas Animal Care Center, so no appointment is necessary to meet him. https://spca.org/adoptable/mr-freckles/
