Meet Ms. Puff, a charming seven-year-old mixed breed, weighing 58 pounds. She has a beautiful black and white coat and fluffy tan eyebrows!

Initially shy, this sweet girl quickly warms up with treats and gentle pets. She's yearning for a quiet home where she can relax, hang out with her favorite people, and learn the ropes of being a beloved pet. Ms. Puff dreams of a home with a securely fenced yard, although sheโ€™d love a home in a low-traffic apartment with easy access to walking areas just as much.

When it comes to family, Ms. Puff thinks she'd be the perfect fit for households with kids over 5, but she's open to meeting younger ones. Ms. Puff is a social butterfly at the shelter, enjoying playtime with her furry friends. She believes she would thrive in a home with another dog as a companion and role model.

She'd love to meet everyone in the family before heading home together. She can be shy at first, but Honey has lots of love to give. She prefers a quiet home, due to a heart condition that her friends at the shelter can explain to Honeyโ€™s new family.

Once comfortable with you, she will be a real lovebug who loves treats, a cat tree and a soft bed. Kids older than 12 are okay, as is another confident cat in the home. Honey will do best without a dog in the house.

Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Honey has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on all her necessary vaccinations. She is housed at the Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Dr, 75212), so drop by any day from Noon to 6 p.m. to meet her. Sheโ€™s eager to make your acquaintance.

Say hi to Rex, a one-year-old mixed breed pup whoโ€™s looking for his forever home!

Weighing in at 43 pounds, this beautiful brindle-coated boy is a bit shy, but loves, and I mean loves, to chase a tennis ball! He might have short little legs, but heโ€™s fast as lightening.

Rex is a friendly fella, but might do best in a home with kids older than five, so be sure to bring any children to a meet and greet prior to adoption. He would probably enjoy another confident dog in the home to help bring him out of his shell. Again, itโ€™s a good idea to bring four-legged siblings to a meet and greet, too!

Rex would love a fenced backyard to run and play in. But, heโ€™s not all ruff and tumble. This sweet guy loves to cuddle and play couch potato when the time is right.

Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Rex has been neutered, microchipped and is current on all his necessary vaccines. He is waiting for his forever home at our Dallas Animal Care Center, so come to meet him any day of the week from Noon to 6 p.m., at 2400 Lone Star Drive in Dallas. Skip and Speckle are two of the cutest kitties you will ever meet! Both being black and white domestic shorthairs with gorgeous green eyes, youโ€™d think they were brother and sister!

Although thatโ€™s not the case, they are pair bondedโ€”best of friends that need to be adopted together.

Speckle has a tiny pink nose and a little black goatee! Weighing in at six pounds, this two-year-old sweetie is a little shy and is looking for a calm home and a patient family.

Skip has two puffy white cheeks that stand out from his all black face. Heโ€™s the same size as Speckle but is five and a half years old. Heโ€™s also looking for that quiet home where the humans understand a little patience will go a long way toward gaining Skipโ€™s confidence.

Meet Thomas, the charming two-year-old mixed breed dog that's sure to steal your heart. With his striking black and white coat and adorable, expressive ears, he's the epitome of canine cuteness. Weighing in at 54 pounds, Thomas is the ideal size for both indoor cuddles and outdoor adventures.

Thomas isn't just about looksโ€”he's smart too! His quick wit and eagerness to learn make him an ideal candidate for training and interactive play. Thomas already knows how to sit and give paw! His love for treats is the perfect motivation for teaching him new tricks and commands.

But that's not allโ€”Thomas is the ultimate snuggle buddy. His affectionate nature shines through with kisses and cuddles, making your home feel warmer and cozier. He's also your go-to exercise partner, always ready for a game of fetch or a brisk walk to keep you both active and healthy.

One of Thomas's best qualities is his friendly demeanor. He gets along brilliantly with other dogs and kids, making him an ideal addition to any family dynamic. Whether it's playdates at the park or cozy movie nights at home, Thomas is up for it all.

Just like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, Thomas has been neutered, microchipped and has had all his age-appropriate vaccines. He is waiting for his new forever family at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, located at 2400 Lone Star Drive in Dallas, 75212. No appointment is necessary to meet Thomas, so come on in. The Dallas Animal Care Center is open from Noon to 6 p.m. every day of the week.
