With the weather coming this weekend we recommend anyone needing food or medication refills to stop by tomorrow before noon. We plan on being here as long as possible but if conditions get bad we may have to close before 5:30pm.

Please remember that next week we have limited hours if you are in need of medications please don’t wait! We are open Monday, Dec 23rd from 8-5:30 and Tuesday, Dec 24th until noon. We will not be back until Friday, December 27th.

Interesting day today! Dr. Rubow removed these items from the colon and stomach of a almost 2 year old Standard Poodle. Please be careful what you leave laying around, you never know what your dog might eat!

We are so greatful to all of our wonderful clients, and thank you all for all the support you have given us over this past year, but especially over the past few months as Dr. Dutterer retired and we have welcomed Dr. Rubow to Applewood. We look forward to continuing to serve you and your furry ones in 2025!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and we wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday! Please remember that not all foods are safe for pets. Thanksgiving can be one of the most dangerous and stressful times for pets, so please be mindful of what you are giving to them! We have a list of items listed below that are not safe to give, so please keep those items away from pets!

Also, we wanted to remind everyone of our holiday hours during Thanksgiving. We will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and we will not re open until Monday, December 2nd. If you need food or medication refills please make sure to get these items by Wednesday, November 27th. We hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving!!

Now in stock!! Librela is a once-a-month shot for dogs with arthritis. By decreasing pain, Librela can increase your dog's activity and improve their quality of life. It effectively controls Canine OA pain with a once-a-month injection given by us here in the office.
