Late night chats with Aurora 💓
Aurora has been with us for a few weeks now with no interest. This girl is the BEST. She has been tossed around her entire life, but you would never know it! She adores humans and wants nothing more than to simply feel loved. She is a 7 year old American Bulldog mix.
Aurora has some health concerns, which we are more than willing to continue assisting with once she is in a forever home. Her kidneys are not working correctly, so she is on medication and will be going back to our vet within the next week to recheck her bloodwork. She is also on a kidney diet. She does not let this stop her - she has so much life left! She has lost weight since entering our care, which has greatly helped her mobility. Her hips hurt, so she is also on medication to help that area. She would prefer to be your one and only dog, she does well meeting most but prefers to be by herself and not be bothered by other dogs. She has done well with cats. Due to her mobility issues and never living with them, kids aged 10+ are recommended. She does not need to be crated when alone, she is also house trained. She loves going for walks, equally loving lounging around. This girl is AMAZING. Please give her a chance!

HAPPY Fourth of July everyone!
Heres our little man who was rescued a few weeks ago from Kingston. He's doing great. The hundred or so ticks are gone, but he need one more revolution treatment just to be sure. We originally called him Kingston, but were thinking after 6 different attempts to find and catch him the name WALDO fits him much better. The little bagger. He loves his greens dinner and loves love and attention.
This super goofy boy is patiently waiting for the perfect family!
Yogi is a 1 year old Pit mix of some sort. He was originally a stray and was never claimed. He has a huge personality and is always in the happiest mood, his only downfall being his pure puppy energy. He is still learning right from wrong, he is very much still in puppy mode. He would greatly benefit from a family who is active and will exercise him both mentally & physically. He is a very quick learner and is very eager to learn. At this time he would do best with teenagers and adults only. He is god with most dogs and does not do well with cats. He is crate and house trained. When walked by those who take charge, he does very well on leash. He reaches his paw out to grab us when we walk past his kennel and even sneaks some licks in at times if you’re close enough (with his ridiculous little shark teeth always getting stuck). He is such a good boy and has SO much potential, we really do not want to see him fall through the cracks. Please give this bouncy boy a chance!
