Hey Dallas! 👋🏻 Join us in welcoming Dr. Longoria to the ReadiVet family as our new Urgent Care Medical Director!

Dr. Longoria has been a veterinarian for almost 5 years but has been in the veterinary industry for 17 years! His passion for animals began at a young age, living on a ranch with cattle, sheep, and various birds, reptiles, pocket pets, dogs, and cats. He jokes that while his mom wasn't always on board with his assortment of pets, her rule was that if he kept things clean and she couldn't smell them, he could keep them. Taking this as a challenge, at one point, he had 2 turtles, 1 cockatoo, 2 finches, 2 canaries, 2 hamsters, and 2 snakes—all in his bedroom!

When he's not caring for your pets, Dr. Longoria enjoys tending to his chickens, incubating their eggs, and helping the chicks hatch. He currently has 6 chickens and 7 one-week-old chicks. Starting Monday, November 25, you can see him at our Dallas clinic for all your urgent care needs.

We're thrilled to have Dr. Longoria on our team, and he can't wait to help your pets feel better! 🩺🐾

Does your pet have bad breath? If YES, there is something you can do to help make it better! If your pet has bad breath along with any of the signs below, they might be due for a dental cleaning.

🤢 Bad breath: Persistent bad breath is often a sign of dental disease in pets.
🦷 Yellow or brown teeth: If your pet’s teeth have visible discoloration, this could be a sign of tartar buildup.
🍽️ Difficulty eating: If your pet is having difficulty eating or is dropping food, this could indicate dental pain.
🪥 Swollen or bleeding gums: Inflamed or bleeding gums can be a sign of gingivitis or periodontal disease.
