Astro the Golador (Golden Retriever / Labrador) from Abilene, TX doing some board drills
Gunner the Vizsla from Houston
Byrd, the Goldendoodle from Tyler / Bullard is off leash with the LSDT crew
Iris, the Cavapoo from Magnolia is my final graduate in the biggest graduation week ever. She came in nice but demanding and unruly. She leaves a much more controlled dog on and off leash and a lot more patient / less needy than before. She is going to live a great life in “The Magnolia City”
Henry, the big Golden Retriever from Dallas is a brute in size and in behavior. I’m using long line to teach him to get his nose off the ground, stop pulling and stay in close to me.
Ozzy, the German Shephed from Austin in his longline introduction lesson to stop pulling, stay close and keep his head off the ground
Birdie, the formerly wild and crazy Goldendoodle from Tyler, TX goes off leash heeling.
Iris, the Cavapoo from Magnolia, TX goes off leash with Trick, Deeley, Rogue and Keisha
Bullet, the Border Collie / -
APBT X from Austin is my second to last graduate in the busiest week ever at LSDT. He was fast, fun and very athletic and his social skills helped a lot of the other dogs learn to interact with the group.
Desmond, the Great Dane / APBT X from Austin is the next graduate. He came in with a long list of fear issues but he left a significantly more confident dog capable of off leash heeling with distractions that would have caused panic and chaos in the past. He was just a big kind dog who was a very steady trainer and in the end turned out wonderful.
Stevie, the Whoodle (Wheaton Terrier / Poodle) is my next graduate in an incredibly busy graduation weekend. She was a ball of energy who just needed to focus and learn some control. She will be an excellent member of a busy family for many years to come.
Otis, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Austin is the next graduate. He was a character from day 1 to 21. This little fella had a ton of personality and will be strolling the streets showing it off in the Capitol City
Charlie, the Goldendoodle from Midland, TX is the next graduate. This ball of energy leaned to focus and co trim herself on and off leash. She is now much calmer around young children and can ignore and play appropriately with other dogs. Her size is perfect and her heart of gold truly stands out.
Lucy, the Golden Retriever from Houston is my next graduate in the busiest weekend ever at LSDT. She was a sweet girl who just needed some control and attention. She came a long long way in 4 weeks and the dog coming home looks the same but is truly so much better than before.
My first graduated today is one of my two legged students: Brooks from Lubbock and Texas Tech University. Today he completes the 30 Day Processional Dog Trainers course and begins a new direction in west Texas.
Bandit the Border Collie from Central Texas runs the obstacle course with my student Brooks.
Jasper, the German Shepherd / Red Heeler X from Dallas / Celina is my next graduate. This fella was a handful and probably the most difficult dog of the year. He came for a bit of an extended stay and it made all the difference. He went from a dog who couldn’t be lived with to a dog who the family can’t wait to live with now. I am really happy for them.
Remy, the Goldendoodle from Houston / The Woodlands is my next graduate. She came in sweet but wild so I put in the controls on her to give her freedom and her family the ability to enjoy her and have fun together.
Roxy the German Shepherd and Bruiser the Bernadoodle from Dallas are my next graduates. These
Two could not have been more different but they were both very nice dogs who now work together very well
Buddy the Terrier, Bruno the Goldendoodle and Rosie the Boxer from Dallas are my next three graduates. The Three Amigos never disappointed with their antics or orchestrated tactical resistance to me and my students. In the end theses 3 will never be forgotten all for different reasons. Truly proud to have changed them for the better and improved their quality of life. Special guest appearance by honorary LSDT graduate Jack the German Shepherd
Goldie, the Golden Retriever from Dallas / Celina is my first graduate this week. She was just a wonderful dog who needed training not fixing. We all lived this one from day 1 to day 24. She was just a holiday on four feet making everyone happy everywhere she went.
Ray, the Vizsla from Dallas / McKinney runs the obstacle course
Stevie the AussieDoodle from Dallas working on “place” from 45 feet away.
Nikki, the English Springer Spaniel from Cleveland, Ohio and Remy the Vizsla from Houston are working on heeling drills.
Remy, the Vizsla from Houston is a monster on the obstacle course. He is the first of the 3 Vizslas in training so more to follow.
Charlie, the Goldendoodle from Dallas / Grand Prairie is learning to negotiate the obstacle course today
Otis the Cavalier King Charles from Austin, Stevie the AussieDoodle from Dallas and Rocky the Sheepadoodle from Dallas are working the neighborhood together
