It’s happening now!  You can schedule a pickup from your front door!  Clear out those never-used items from your closets - those cute shoes that hurt your feet, the stuff that’s too big or too small, that set of dishes just gathering dust, the toys they’ve outgrown. You’ll feel better, and our pups will benefit from all the food and vet visits we can pay for. 
Be sure to select Pets Going Places as the charity, and PLEASE share on your feed to spread the word.  
(No furniture, and everything needs to be bagged or boxed.)

It’s October! So here’s your reminder to gather those items you never use from your closets/drawers, and clear some space in your kitchen cupboards. On Oct 21, you can start scheduling the pickup from your front door. PGP gets 9 cents/pound, and you get space in your closet.

We're on the road again!
Like right now, actually on the road headed to WI.

Everyone is mellow, well everyone except Moxie.
He wasn't happy with his accommodations.
That does happen to all of us, so we obliged and moved the little guy.

Co-pilot! He can't touch the pedals so he's not allowed to drive.

We were so close to our 10k goal during NTXGD, like a few hundred bucks close, so maybe we can close the gap?

Welp, we've been posting a lot of littles today, time to introduce you to HUDSON!

GIANT puppy, with the most beautiful golden eyes, and a personality larger than the jumbo dog himself.

One of the many dumped dogs that thankfully came into our care.
He's heart worm positive so he'll be in Dallas for his treatment and then he'll head North. Romp in the snow vs the mud is in order!

He is living his best life as you can see, with his foster sister and partner in crime.

A quick pause in NTXGD celebration for a special shout out to our most amazing, cherished and brilliant Dr. Katie Morgan who has been our vet partner, and dearest friend. Like the time she made a house call to ultrasound a dog we thought might have babies in her belly, (she didn't, we were relieved, dog and her toys were too), to all the time she makes to answer our questions, see our dogs which is usually on not normal schedules because...rescue.

Many of us work full time but still want to foster.
The answer?
Take your foster dog to work!
You'll be the second most popular in the office, behind the dog of course.
Far behind.

It's crucial for our dogs to live in foster homes albeit short term, so they can decompress, socialize, and gain confidence. We only transport to groups who take dogs directly in foster or adoptive homes. NEVER to a shelter.

PGP pulled her out of a shelter within an hour of euthanasia.
She's been in an amazing foster home longer than normal and she is finally getting her turn to head North.
We love you Clara, your new foster and family will fall head over heels.

A peek behind the scenes.
This is what transport looks like.
Everyone has been vetted, been in a foster home and safe and sound for the haul up North.

Not gonna lie, the van does get a little noisy, but the team drives at night so there is more sleeping than anything. The humans are thankful for that.

Your donations help us fuel the van to get the dogs into the arms of their new fosters and families.

And for every dog we move, a space opens up in Texas for a family looking to adopt.

Meet Emma. AKA Emmy.

She came from backyard breeder.

She went for spay and doc discovered nasty infection. Pyometra.
Google it, can be very serious/life threatening.

She had to have yucky surgery yesterday, she's feeling a little puny.

Hopefully her pink recovery suit and her fav spot in her foster home will turn that frown upside down.

Meet Stetson, he came to PGP after his owner passed away. Dropped into a foster home, had a party, stole hearts, then hitched a ride to Wisconsin.

You'll meet many other dogs today, all of them living their best lives. That's the whole point.
