I am No longer taking new pet sitting clients. I will continue with only existing clients with proven track records with me.

I cannot and will not be bogged down with unobtainable expectations. I am unable to sit in someone's house 24 hours a day. I have other clients to tend to, and have to be in and out all day long.

I am discovering that most people have the expectation that as a Pet sitter, I am required to sit in their home 24 hours a day. I cannot accomodate that type of service. I service multiple animals every single day. I don't have days off or take breaks. I also know that dogs and cats can be left alone without supervision for up to 8 to 10 hours a day or longer in some cases.

Going forward, I will not offer an over night stay in anyone's home. I am only available for drop ins. Drop in fee will be $30 per visit. Up to three visits per day.

The newest cutie on my walk service. His name is Winston and he is an English Spaniel. He is full of energy and tons of love. He was such a good boy on our first meeting/Walk. He loved everyone we met along the way, two and four legged as well.

Don't give up! I have a hard one at home. She is fear aggressive/reactive. I have learned so very much about how to handle situations with this problem. Which helps me understand other folks pups. I recognize fear right away now. I know how to defuse the situation and keep it from escalating further. I truly believe that an inexperienced handler would have given up on my Stormy long ago, and I am more than happy to work with my beast like pup.

Everyone is about to be on vacation. Young adults are coming home from college, kids are out of school, and wanting to walk and sit with dogs. Be mindful of your pup's needs. A non professional is not always the best choice. Will a young person be able to spot a problem, or admit when a mistake is made? Most likely not. I am not diminishing the fact that they may be a good choice for you, but think about your pup. What do they need?

Think about the experience the dog is having. Nervous dogs and a non professional are not always a good mix.

Reasons to hire a Professional Dog Walker/Sitter:
●Experience
●Understands Behaviors/body language
●Understand dog reactivity and can handle the situation when it arrises
●Understands what is likely to trigger a dog
●Lets you know when something wrong is suspected
●Takes ownership with any and all issues that arise
●Better able to bond with dog
●More reliable/consistent
●Consistency with nervous/elderly animals
●Can make better decisions regarding the animal in a timely manner
●Less likely to get bit
●Knows how to handle a run away situation in a calm manner

I have been extraordinarily lucky with all the lovely clients that I work with.

I had a very negative experience this last week and I understand It can sometimes be tough navigating personalities and expectations. I have had some life threatening and crazy things happen in the last five years and at this moment I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who trusts me with their beloved pets and appreciates the effort that I put forth to make their pets feel as special as if they were my very own. I put 100% into my duties. I have delved into animal husbandry and learned about dog behaviors and body language and an assortment of other ways to keep animals content, and truly want to ensure that all pups in my care are loved and happy while their family is absent.

To all of you who have made this venture a joy, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have been lucky enough to check in on Stormy's Mom (Piper) and Baby Brother (Mo).
Piper is the Merle, Brother is the mantle.
Talk about precious pups. I walk in and am immediately greeted with love and kissies. Precious Piper is starting to show her age😪

This fella. I am so happy he belongs to me now. He has totally made this house his own. He loves going to work with me and will have a slight melt down if he doesn't get to go with me. He loves being a part of the pack as well. He has done so incredibly well since he came home with me, I just want to cry.

This is Louie. He's a European Golden Retriever, soft and precious. He is one of my sitting clients. He has tons of energy and loves to play with Boston. He walks up to Boston and woofs right in Boston's face.

It went something like this:
Louie: WOOF!
Boston: (ears laid back, looking at me) Did you hear that guy? He yelled at me?
Me: paybacks, my dude. Paybacks.
Boston: Let's rumble!

This is my new friend, Oscar. He is the cutest Welsh Terrier. He is always busy. He takes very few naps because of the chatty squirrels in the back yard and his play mate, Boston and of course, I am here. He just flitters around all day from one shenanigan to the next. His favorite past time is hu***ng my leg/foot, very briefly tho. Wouldn't wanna draw too much attention to oneself, ya know. I am taking this as a sign that he is pleased with the service I have provided him.

This isn't just a pic of my pups.This pic is a BIG DEAL. Stormy generally does not care for other small dogs. She has fear aggression and has suffered from it since she was about 2 years old. (A Small dog kept messing with her and Stormy snapped and held her down and pulled her hair out, I got the pup to the vet and took care of the situation, but Stormy was never the same.) I have had to work with her A LOT to get her to this point. The fact that she is allowing Boston to sleep in her nook is a huge step for her. I am beyond proud of my big girl. She is truly turning into my gentle giant. Boston still does the little dog punk shenanigans, but I keep a watchful eye and keep him in check. I remove him immediately when Stormy lets us know she has had enough. It doesn't take long for her.
