Our Story
Lead Trainer and founder of Breyers’ Canine Academy, Breyers Lane, began training dogs in 2002 in Dallas, TX. Along his training journey, he noticed a disconnect between the trainers and the clients; the dogs were receiving exceptional training, but there was a break in clarity and communication when the dogs were handed back to the owners. In 2009, he started Breyers’ Canine Academy to tackle this issue head-on with private, in-home lessons centered on training dog owners and their companions together. As BCA has grown to include Board and Train and Day Training services, Breyers’ philosophy of creating programs with extensive focus on teaching clients as well as their pets has persisted.
Breyers has trained thousands of dogs, from large to small, pure breeds to mixed breeds, and show dogs to rescues, all with varying levels of behavioral issues. He has also built long-lasting relationships with clients, delivering remarkable results and setting them up for a lifetime of success with their companions.
