Jennifer's Pet Rescue We are a no-kill, non-profit, animal rescue organization located in Dallas, Georgia since 1998.

Our adoptions are held post COVID-19 by appointment only, almost any day of the week in Dallas, GA, outdoors and socially distanced.

Thelma and Louise are back up for adoption at no fault of their own. They were a pair of Yorkies that we had up for adoption this summer. The family that adopted them just weren't cut out for Yorkie ownership. They were seniors themselves and we all thought and hoped it would be a great, but despite the girls being 7 years and 10 years old, they don't act their ages! They are playful, they are spunky and lets just call them a little immature for their old ages. They rough house and love to play together. Then they are also cuddlers and couch potatoes once they are worn out and tired from playing. They are also very housebroken and crate trained. They are about 7 lbs. and 8 lbs. each.

They are a bonded pair and we will try our best to try and place them as such. They are both heartworm negative, spayed, had dentals with extractions (but they eat dry and wet food), are up to date on all of their vaccinations until the summer and they are on monthly heartworm prevention. They come with a crate to share, a case of their canned food to mix with their dry food and a few months of heartworm prevention.

This sweet guy is ready for his new home. He is 9 months old, 25 lbs., almost full grown and a tan and white, wirey haired, Male, Terrier mix. He has a scruffy little face that's just adorable. He was rescued from animal control when his time was up.

He is heartworm negative, neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, up to date on all of his vaccinations for the year and is monthly heartworm prevention.

UPDATE: His heartworm treatment (thank to our wonderful supporters) is complete and he is OH SO ready to be adopted.

Meet JERKY! (He's a low rider and has the shortest legs ever!) We rescued him from animal control and unfortunately he is heartworm positive. So we hope someone can help with his heartworm treatment. He is 5-6 years old and weighs 16 lbs.

He is a super silly, sweet boy that just rolls over on his back for pets. He is great with other animals and never misses a meal (he's a little big b***d)!

Hugo is a 4 year old, 11 lb., short haired, white & tan, Chihuahua mix.

He is already leash trained, crate trained, great with other dogs and kids. He loves to play and never met a stranger. He was rescued from animal control when his time was up.

He is microchipped, heartworm negative, has been neutered, dewormed many times, flea treated, had all of his vaccinations for the year, including DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies, and is on monthly heartworm prevention.

Mellow is a 3 - 4 year old, short haired, tri-colored, Rat Terrier/Chi mix male. He is full grown at just 12 lbs. He's super sweet, but a little reserved at first. He would probably be best suited for a house without small kids. But he is great on a leash, super crate trained and the best little lap dog that likes to go for walks.

He was rescued from animal control when his time was up. He was found as a stray and no one ever came to claim him.

MEET Snow White, as she is finally ready for her big reveal!!

She needed a few months of TLC, gained 10 lbs., and feels like a brand new woman who never ever has to raise babies again. She is a plump 30 lbs., 2 years old and made the sweetest, most adorable babies ever! Now it's her turn to find the palace of her dreams and family to love her. She is great with other animals and loves everyone she meets! She kind of looks like Honey I Shrunk the Lab. She is a petite Lab mix, maybe some Terrier mixed in.

She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, been dewormed, had all of her vaccinations for the year and is on monthly heartworm prevention.

Bandit is a chubby little guy (weighing in at 22 lbs.) and is ready for his new start on life. He is about 8 years old and. Beagle/JRT mix. He's lost a few pounds since he was found (was 27 lbs.) And had such badly overgrown toenails he could barely walk. He has found his happy place and no way acts like he's 8 now! He loves nerf style balls and plays so hard. He's a hoot to watch and he also loves to get pets and cuddle up.

So after after a vet visit and living at the shelter for a month, he's as good as new. He was rescued from animal control when his time was up. He was found as a stray and no one ever came to claim him.

Misty is ready for her new forever home. She is 10 lbs. and approx. 10 years old and we've had her few weeks now but she was awaiting her dental. She had some extractions and has pearly whites now and is fully vetted for the year.

She's a quiet, sweet girl that is very laid back and gets along with everyone! She almost always looks like she is smiling.
