***IMPORTANT CLOSURE INFORMATION***
Ani-Care Animal Hospital will be closed starting July 16th until at least July 21. Dr. Feinsod is having neck surgery. His recovery progress will determine when we will be fully operational again.
What we know:
He cannot perform surgery for at least a month as he will be in a neck brace and cannot look down.
He cannot handle large, aggressive, or potentially dangerous animals for at least 2 months.
What we don't know:
When he will be able to see appointments in person. It could be as soon as 2 weeks or as late a 4-6 weeks.
What are hoping to do:
Provide at least limited services at the 1-2 week mark.
The office will be likely be closed July 16-21 to the public, but staff will be answering phones to triage and either direct you to another hospital or waitlist you for an appointment as soon as we re-open if it can wait.
How to prepare:
Research other vets/ERs/Urgent care centers in case of emergency NOW. Make sure they can care for the species that you have. Make a list of a few options and familiarize yourself with their location. Exotics especially can go downhill within a few hours, DO NOT DELAY CARE.
By July 12, make sure you have enough prescription medication to get through to August. Dr. Feinsod needs to be present to dispense medication and to approve online pharmacy requests.
If your pet needs a procedure before the end of summer, schedule it now. There aren't many slots left.
If your pet has a pending health concern, schedule an appointment now.
If your pet will be due for Rabies vaccine between July 16 and Aug 16, call for an appointment now. (Only vets can give this vaccine).
**Updates will be posted on our website and page.**
