Where are our Cane Corso lovers? We found your dream girl and her name is Nova!🌠

This special girl took our Adoption Center by storm after she was found abandoned on a rooftop in the Bronx. She was so scrawny and had clearly been neglected for some time. But after a few weeks of solid meals, a vet checkup, and a rescue full of people lovin' on her, Nova's larger-than-life personality exploded from her, and we saw just what a goofy girl she was!

Nowadays, Nova is being fostered by our dear friend Tracey who has continued to spoil her to bits. At 3 years old, Nova is still so young and full of life. She LOVES people, men in particular! She's got Tracey's husband wrapped around her little paws, doting on her all day and telling her what a good girl she is. Nova is living with a few other dogs, but would also be perfectly happy as the only pet in the home—she's versatile like that.

If this 75-pound pup with her tongue hanging out of her mouth seems like your dream dog, then you better jump at the chance to adopt Nova, because there's not too many of these beauties floating around! Head to nycscr.org/adopt and apply

*Through 9/10, all dog adoptions are reduced by half to celebrate the 10th annual Clear The Shelters adoption campaign.
