Why is our adoption fee more affordable than the cost of taking a cat to the vet?

1. We ensure that our cats are spayed/neutered to prevent overpopulation. There are numerous stray animals, and often, most have not received spay/neuter services. A single cat can have up to 4-6 kittens per litter and multiple litters within a year due to their short gestation period. By spaying/neutering, we prevent various issues.

2. We strive to make a difference.
We do not want to place an animal in the same situation from which we rescued it. Our adoption fee is lower than our vet bills because we prioritize helping animals in need. We rely solely on donations from generous individuals to support our vet bills. We also contribute our own funds to ensure the animals receive proper vetting and care, enabling them to join a loving family.

3. When you adopt from Little Bit Of Heaven Rescue, the adoption fee directly supports another animal in need, covering essential vetting expenses. This enables us to continue assisting animals in need. Your contribution comes from adopting an animal from us. By doing so, you not only save one animal but also help another in need.

4. When you adopt, you are adopting a cat that has already received all of its mandatory vetting. You don’t have to worry about taking trips back and forth to the vet, for we have already got the vetting taken care of. You’ll also receive all vetting records with your adoption.

The kitty that was thrown in a dumpster here in Whitfield County, This is Romeos update! He has made a truly miraculous recovery! Despite being sick for a while after his rescue, he demonstrated remarkable resilience. Initially, he was extremely skinny and unhealthy, but we never lost faith in his ability to thrive. After a couple of days with us, his eyes were matted shut and he had no appetite, leaving us worried that we might lose him, but he refused to give up. With antibiotics, fluids, and medications to aid in his recovery, he gradually began to bounce back. He is a true warrior! We have fallen deeply in love with little Romeo, and he will undoubtedly capture your heart! Now full of energy, playing with other cats, and eating well, we are overjoyed that he has triumphantly overcome his battle with sickness. Although he still requires some time before he can be vetted, we will continue to keep you all updated!

This baby is the most loving, affectionate, kitten you will ever meet. Meet Romeo! He is beautiful. Romeo was found thrown in a dumpster, here in Whitfield County. Someone heard his screams for help and went to see that little Romeo was tossed in a dumpster and trapped inside of a trash bag. He is truly a little miracle baby and we have fallen in love with him! We were contacted and immediately went to pick Romeo up to see that he was such a sweet little baby and for someone to be able to be so cruel was so shocking to us. Romeo will be up for adoption once he has received all of his necessary vetting. ‼️🐱We are in need of a facility to further our mission!🐱‼️ in 2023 our mission was to find some type of building to make a facility out of. As some of you may know, we are an animal rescue located in Whitfield County GA. We are in need of a facility due to the fact that we are currently running the rescue from our home. We save over 1000+ precious animals a year, and with that being said, we are very limited in space and are almost always at max capacity, unable to take in more cats. We receive countless messages and calls from people asking if we can take in cats, but when we explain that we are at our max capacity, we are often met with frustration, which can be very disheartening. We currently have one outlet for cat adoptions, Dalton GA Petsmart. Our dream is to open a facility that will save countless lives, provide a second chance for many animals, and offer an amazing life that each and every animal deserves. We envision a facility that is open to the public, where people can come and visit from all over the world to meet our beautiful cats and potentially adopt a new furry friend to take home. This would be a wonderful addition to our community and surrounding areas. It would have a profoundly positive impact in so many ways. We made this post in 2023 and until this day we would LOVE to have a facility and would be a dream come true to be able to help and save many more animals in need. We would love to have something set up to where the public could come in and visit all of the animals, help with the animals, and adopt. We are working with what resources we have but a rescue facility would be more than a blessing. We could save so many more animals, we could find them so many more families and homes, and we could make a change that this world and town needs. We just need the love and support from you all and a lot of prayers. We hope to some day save thousands of animals per year and find them their forever homes… we just need your help and support to get there. What is rescue you ask? Let us tell you.
Rescue is so much more than what we share. It's praying, loving the animals, and hating the people that disregard taking care of them, but it's also about rising above that hate and being the change. It's crying when you lose one of them, but it's also about finding strength in those tears to keep going. It's pain from wondering why people treat them so poorly, but it's also about transforming that pain into purpose. It's sleepless nights, but it's also about finding rest in the knowledge that you're making a difference. It's cleaning non-stop, but it's also about finding joy in the little things, like a clean cage or a happy animal. There is no family time, but it's also about finding a new sense of family among fellow rescuers and adopting families. It's worrying if you're going to have the help you need to help an animal, but it's also about trusting that god will provide. It's ensuring they are well taken care of before you think about yourself, and it's about finding selflessness in that act. It's putting them first, and it's about finding fulfillment in that sacrifice. It's emergency vet visits, giving medications, it’s trying to find them the best homes and families that will never put them in the position of being at stray. It's falling asleep while trying to function because you're so tired, but it's also about finding rejuvenation in the knowledge that you're doing something meaningful. It's dealing with seeing hurt animals that someone has cut, shot, stabbed, burned, kicked, tied up, thrown in a bag on the side of the road, or thrown in a trash can, but it's also about finding the courage to keep going despite those horrors. This is just some of the things that go on that we don't post about. We take action and let authorities know. We take control and take care of the animal. We don't want credibility, we want to make a change. We are what the animals need. They depend on us. We are their voice. In rescue, you won't have a vacation. The closest thing to a vacation you'll get is being able to go out to a restaurant and eat for an hour. Once you get home, it's back to cleaning, giving medications, feeding, and changing waters. But even in the midst of all that hard work, we find joy. Rescue is hard, it's stressful, there is no 'me' time. You'll get sick and still have to work. You'll get tired and still have to keep going. But it's worth it. This is the part of rescue that we don’t post about. In the end, seeing these animals find happiness and love is all worth the fight! And we will keep fighting no matter what comes our way! God is on our side, every moment counts, every effort matters, every donation helps, every life saved is a victory. It’s not just a mission, it’s a calling, it’s a labor of love. Rescue isn’t for the faint of heart, it’s for those who are brave, resilient, and compassionate. In the end, it’s the joy of seeing them thrive, the knowledge that we made a difference, that makes every challenge worthwhile.

Paws And Kisses Valentines Animal Adoption Event! is still going on for one more day! We are deeply grateful to all the incredible families who have opened their hearts and homes to adopt. We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Chatsworth GA Scouts for their selfless contribution to our event! Paws And Kisses Valentines Animal Adoption Event! Is officially here! Be sure to come by PetSmart in Dalton GA and adopt yourself a Valentine! All of our cats are fully vetted, happy, and healthy! Also, when you adopt, you’ll receive all vetting records, a free bag of cat toys, and a adoption coupon booklet for items throughout the PETSMART store! This event starts now until Sunday! (14th, 15th, 16th!). The scouts will be there to help out tomorrow (Saturday the 15th) so be sure to come out and support, visit us, the cats, and possibly adopt yourself a fur baby! We would like to take a moment to express our deepest admiration and heartfelt gratitude to the Chatsworth GA Scouts for their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in raising donations for our kitties and for our rescue. We would like to acknowledge and commend the remarkable efforts of Troop 360, Troop 211, Troop 73, and Packs 100 and 73. We are forever grateful for the incredible work and selfless efforts they have put towards making a tangible difference in the lives of the animals and in our rescue. Their kindness and generosity have left an indelible mark on our hearts, and we are truly humbled to have had the privilege of welcoming them and receiving their donations. Haley Williams, Ruby Mar, Lennon Hord, Jaylee Boldwyn, Olivia Dean, MaKaiyden Nettles, and Jade Mar, your compassion and generosity are a shining beacon of hope and inspiration, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to thank you all in person and have youball visit the cats.
