‼️ 🥶 Over the next week, or longer, temperatures are expected to range from the low teens in the mornings to the upper 30’s/lower 40’s during the day.

We implore you to keep your pets warm and protected from the elements.

Nothing can beat keeping them indoors or in another heated space.

Frostbite, hypothermia and death are real threats.

🚨 If you see pets that are being kept outdoors and do not have any protection from the cold please report these incidents to Animal Control in your county.

This little lady showed up on a cold night. A sweet couple brought her inside so she didn’t freeze. We were able to help them get her spayed right away and she is now in her forever home ~ safe and loved ❤️

Ebony, a resilient 2 year 4 month old lab mix who joined us just over 2 years ago, is facing a torn CCL (similar to ACL in humans) and is slated to undergo a Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) surgery, thanks to a compassionate foster and a scheduled surgery for next Wednesday morning. Ebony came to us as a puppy and is now an active young girl who LOVES playing with tennis balls and frolicking in our pond yard. She deserves a chance at living a happy, healthy and active life. Will you help us help her?

In order to cover her surgery and recovery we need to raise about $3,300. We are grateful for all donations. Let’s get this girl back up and playing again!

This adorable little guy named Fang was found on Halloween night in the middle of the road and had been hit by a car. He wound up having to have his back leg removed. This certainly has not slowed him down. He runs and plays With his buddies and keeps up with all of them.

Fang is a Beagle mix and will probably be around 30 pounds when full grown. He is super friendly and loves his toys and playtime. Go to hsnwga.org to apply for a cat or dog.

Update: A huge thanks to Paw Angels and anyone else who helped with this mom and puppies. We are in desperate need for fosters and rescues. We have several more litters, waiting to come in or to be fostered. Most of the litters are six or seven puppies, but we could split them if we need to. Call or text 615-714-2446 if you can help.  They are located in Dalton, Georgia.

Our babies are still loving the Christmas tree 🎄. A volunteer has had to re-decorate it 5 times so far 🤣🎄❤️. That’s okay we love that they love it 🎄❤️🎄

Can you help? We need more ball throwers, kennel cleaners and dog movers. We really need help on the Friday 11:30 AM shift, Friday evening 5:30 PM shift and Saturday afternoon 4 PM shift. Check out our girl Ebony fetching and returning the ball. She is very talented and has been with us 790 days. Go to hsnwga.org to fill out an online application to volunteer or to adopt a dog or cat.
