I have lived with and loved animals all of my life. I've had cats, dogs, rats, mice, and a few grumpy but lovable hamsters. My joy of animals led me to attended college where I graduated with a degree B.S. in Small Animal Science. I spent my early career as vet tech but when I began a family of my own, I stepped away to focus on life as a stay-at-home mom. We had two beautiful shelties during those years who helped me bridge my time away from the workplace. After they crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we were blessed to find our lovable Janessa, a Belgian Malinois-Terrier mix.
Janessa and I went through AFT dog training together and that experience reawakened my calling to work with animals outside of my own home. I came to Rover to follow that passion and serve my community by lending my skills, my background and most importantly a loving and nurturing hand to your furry companions.
I have a fairly flexible schedule as a stay-at-home mom with older kids. I am organized in my appointments and personal life and bring dependability and reliability in all my commitments both here and elsewhere. I'm a proactive communicator who will always bring professionalism to my clients.
I recognize that visiting your pets extends beyond just playing with them or letting them out. They are a precious part of your family, and I will always treat them as I would my own. Furthermore, I know during that care/visit, I will be at your property or home and that is a second level of trust. I am committed to honoring that trust, proactively communicating and being consistent and transparent in my service.
