Monty The Therapy Dog and Tracy Gasdik Krapf are excited to announce the air date for “The 2024 AKC Humane Fund Awards for Canine Excellence" (ACE Award)

Airing December 15th on ESPN 2 at 6PM ET

Monty was nominated and became a finalist but did not win…they are still going to include him on the special program though! Even though we didn’t win, this is a huge honor! Especially for Scottish Terriers everywhere!

We have incredible news to share!

Monty The Therapy Dog was nominated for the AKC HUMANE FUND AWARDS FOR CANINE EXCELLENCE (ACE) as a Therapy Dog!

Sadly Monty did not win, however he was a finalist! And that’s a big deal for this little guy! Monty will be included in an ESPN program sometime in December featuring all the winners and finalists from the awards.

We just submitted our media package of photos and videos! We will let you know how and when to watch for Monty on the show.

And we are honored by the nomination! Thank you!

We both had an amazing time visiting the scouts and teaching them about Therapy Dogs. What a wonderful group of kids and leaders!

It was a fine day in Mt Laurel New Jersey! Monty The Therapy Dog ran two of his best times ever! Fast CAT times are: Run 1 12.05 seconds (16.97mph) Run 2 12.07 seconds (16.95mph) Love his running smiles!

Monty The Therapy Dog having a fun run day @ Chubb Park NJ. Going to amass some points before going in to Terrier Nationals Week (October 1 &2) and working towards his FCAT title! He’s just about 325? points away from FCAT now. It’s such a fun sport for him. He loves chasing the “bunny” Scores: Run 1 13.28 seconds =15.40 mph Run 2 13.09 seconds =15.63 mph Current point value with today’s runs = 746.30 (needs 253.70 points for FCat title! I think he can do it at nationals!)

This past week was National Volunteer Week. Monty The Therapy Dog and Tracy Gasdik Krapf had a busy schedule at the hospital and airport. We got some lovely thank you gifts too but Monty loves getting treated to Fast CAT after a busy working week… Super Sunday Runday! John C Rudy Park, York PA did not disappoint again. This was the same park Monty The Therapy Dog started his Fast Cat addiction last year. Full circle today his run times are amazing and pretty consistent with his very first runs last year! He hasn’t been able to beat his personal best of 17.77mph but he’s pretty darn close! Today’s event was put on by Clumber Spaniel Club of America and KDC Event Services. They did a fantastic job! Video from Monty’s second run which was his fastest. Times: Run 1: 12.69 sec at 16.12mph Run 2: 12.55 sec at 16.30mph! He’s super tired now but the little bugger wanted to keep chasing and refused to leave.
