The horse community is very small and that is a fantastic thing! It does however tend to let rumors spread quickly so I would like to take a moment to state some facts since I have been informed that word is out.
Yes I did get hurt last week and along with the truck going into the shop that meant I was down for the last two days of last week.
I actually got hurt twice last week, in some respects we all know it’s a possibility anytime we crawl under a horse. Which is why we Farrier’s really need horse owners to understand how fragile of a balancing act it is that we play most days. You can help stack the deck in our favor by the behavior you expect and allow while your horse is standing or being handled.
I tend to push the boundaries of what I should do because that’s who I am and will not lay blame for anything other than on me for making a bad decision.
Now, I am not (as far as I know) hurt so bad that I’m going to be missing a lot of work but I will be moving a bit slower and trying to let the recovery process move as quickly as possible. If you have any questions please reach out to us and we will do our very best to answer them.
I hope you all have a had a great weekend and have a great Memorial Day! Remember those who have fallen so that we can have the freedoms that we so enjoy.

Over the years I have had a lot of people ask if they could get products or clothes with the 3R logo on them. I have always had to say No……….. until NOW! The “Store” on the website is up and running! This has been a decent amount of work but there are lots of options and if there is something specific that you would like but don’t see it, let me know and I will see if we can get it added.
