Baby dogs!!!
I got it!!! I got it!!!
Training is exhausting. At least josh came to visit!
Leila is really a perfect girl for grooming β€οΈ when she first started coming. She had anxiety the whole time. Now as soon as her mom leaves she runs to the tub, jumps in, walks out after her bath, goes straight to the table, sits until I'm ready to do nails then stands gets nails done, ears clean, blowout and jumps off table straight to the treat jar π after the treat she waits for mom. She has learned that when she is good, she is done faster and gets a treat and back home.
I love the rainbow color reflecting on her from my new door wraps π
Practice Practice Practice!!!!
Happy National Dog Day !
Let me see those doggies!!!!
Over the years Ks has tried hard to better the care of dogs when it comes to daycare and overnight guest. At times raining muddy yards have left messy or stinky pups when we were a 1 or 2 person operation. We have friends with longer coats who need more of a groom.
Having someone run a separate bussiness was a great way to start learning however sometimes it made it hard to get grooms in quick as most of the groomers in the area are booked solid ( because they are amazing) We also took note that groomers have different styles and people like different grooms.
All the to announce we have 2 groomers helping just our Ks clients (if you have previously worked with Kary or Shelbi your welcome to call or message)
We will only be scheduling 2/3 weeks at a time to make sure our in house friends can be scheduled quickly!
Feel free to request your groomer
No groom will start before 10am
Groomers will set pricing after evaluating coat and dog behavior!(it's always subject to change)
Baths will be $60 for a large dogs and 40$ for 40lbs and under this includes nail trim.
Nail trim alone is $10
K's will take over the grooming department scheduling, taking payment and making sure we hear your needs so the groomers can worry only focus their attention on the dogs!
See if you qualify to book a time for this upcoming week 585-613-8725 or stop in the office Tuseday to Friday 7:00am to 5:30 pm
How many people to hold up a great dane baby!!!
When your mom brings you in for a demo so everyone can have a refresher on how to give a good bath and blow dry!
Trying something completely different with how Ks will handle grooming even had some window peepers learning... After today's meeting I think it's going to be amazing!
Mea soooo good and brave
Sweet, Mae, making her rounds around pilot school. As the boss, shes making sure everyone is doing what they came to school to do πΎπβ€οΈ

There is more then one way to relax in the yard!
When you want to play and wrestle but your already wore out and it's not even 10:00am
It's been a bit since I have shared the people I'm most thankful for! They help fill waters, who are constantly cleaning/fixxing, feed dogs and giving baths. They spend countless hours rotating dogs and watching behavior this keeps things relaxed and safe. Along with team work that's made it so our teams and dogs might have had a few scratches/cuts and bumps but never had serious injury. We are constantly taking care of the land and old building to create better space as its had several bussinesses since the 80s. I'm so proud to have the team we do.
I also wanna give a thank you to the people who help on the sidelines for technology, construction and maintenance! The vets and vet techs who give us classes or are on stand by for assistance!
Ks canine is only successful because of our growth with our team and our clients.. Even as we have made mistakes or changes we learn and it's just getting better!!!
Feel free to stop in the office Tuseday to Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm and have a chat with anyone of these extraordinary people
Allow me to introduce the canseraga 2024-2025 school buddies!

Just sharing from another fabulous groomer
Reactivity π₯and fixationπ.
Often hand in hand.
While many may be familiar with the hard face, stiff body and possible closed mouth when fixating...there are plenty more signs your dog may be fixating.
Raised hackles/Piloerection.
This can cause a dog to "fluff" up or bristle their tail...it could be in just a few areas or the whole coat. This can certainly happen at many other times too and many of these are not connected to reactivity/fixation.
As with everything in reading your dog...context is everything.
As is the whole picture.
Another sign your dog may be fixating is the lengthening of the whole neck, straining forward while usually not moving the body any closer. Often this is paired with the chest puffing/sticking out and legs anchored well back.
The lengthening and stretching out can accompany a lower or higher neck/head position or just straight out in front.
Peeking is often displayed too.
This is a dogs head moving their head side to side without turning their head.
It can look like they have an invisible tree in front and need to peek around it to see the stimuli....but the body usually stays still.
These are only some of the signs of possible fixation.
There are many more and some dogs will certainly not display them all. Some breeds will never have their hackles raised due to their type of coat but may certainly have other signs.

Sometimes people ask when bedtime is, just depends And tonight the numbers are low and the weather is amazing, it was my turn so bedtime is 10:35 haha Noone stays in an outside yard over night but we can stay up late! We keep someone on property over night, this allows the dogs to be out longer depending on numbers and weather! As a reminder we perfer to take dogs who do 3 days of daycare in a 6mth time frame this reduces stress and gives everyone a chance to become acquainted!
Last nail trim.........πΎπΎβ€οΈ Of the year haha π€£ Tomorrow Monday December 4th 3pm to 6pm 7$ per dog Please make sure they have a good fitting collar and you wait in your car until we come around We appreciate you waiting!!!
