On September 18, 2012, Dr. Ami Maloco and her husband Ruel dedicated their time and expertise to establishing Dansville Animal Hospital with one simple mission: to provide compassionate, top-quality veterinary care for the pets who mean so much to your families.

Over the past 13 years, we’ve been honored to serve Dansville and the surrounding communities—caring for more than 100,000 pets and earning accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), a distinction held by only two practices in Livingston County. This recognition reflects our commitment to the highest standards in patient care.

What truly sets us apart, though, is our incredible staff. Their dedication, compassion, and tireless support for our doctors allow us to touch the community in meaningful ways every single day. They are the heart of our hospital, and their commitment inspires us year after year. ❤️

Meet Merle, a 10-week-old Australian Shepherd mix who’s as unique as his name! From his gorgeous merle markings to his speckled nose and dreamy eyes!

Merle stole hearts today with his sweet, cuddly nature and loved every minute of being snuggled and held by everyone he met. He’s the total package: adorable and affectionate! 💕

Dansville Animal Hospital first opened its doors in 1984, giving the community of Dansville a veterinary practice that has stood the test of time. Since the practice was purchased by Dr. Ami Maloco and her husband Ruel in 2012, we have made it our mission to create a practice that goes above and beyond in veterinary excellence.
