One more Courtesy Post 😍

This is Penny who was rescued and brought back to good health. She is now ready for a home and the rescuer has this to say about her, “She is an amazing dog and we already have two, it’s just a lot. But I was so happy to have been able to help her. She was skin and bones 🙁 She is potty trained, great with all dogs big and small, cats, kids. She doesn’t chew on things, loves to play with toys, and doesn’t shed.
Requires attention around food. Not food aggressive but will steal your food. Off lead trained, does great on a leash also. Not spayed. Update to date on all vaccines.

Miss Georgia continues to make progress and build confidence! She is just the sweetest. She is adoptable thru Danville-Boyle County Humane Society while we foster her.

She is a special girl with an unknown history so she is going to need someone special to love her but don’t let that scare you away. She is learning how to move comfortably on leash and wear harnesses and collars so walks or potty breaks on leash may be out of the question for now. Ideally, she needs a fenced in backyard so that she can move about freely to go potty and play. She will be a flight risk for some time if she were to get loose or spooked so it’s important to have secure doors and gates so she cannot access unconfined spaces. She does do great at moving in and out of the house to go potty and seems to be potty trained at this point. She will need to be supervised or crated when unsupervised as she learns what is appropriate or play with around the house. She LOVES other dogs. She does enjoy cuddling and will sleep in the bed with you once she has learned to trust you. She is absolutely the sweetest.

Meet Ollie, the Labradoodle! He will be 1 on Christmas and is in need of some new living arrangements. His current family loves him dearly but cannot give him what he needs. They would love for him to find a family that has more time to shower him with love and attention. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. His brother comes to daycare with us weekly and he is just a joy to have around so I’m sure that Ollie is too. If you think you might be interested please reach out and I can put you in contact with his owners.

Don’t forget!! We are walking THIS SATURDAY @ 6:30pm in Danville's Small Town Christmas Parade. Reach out if you are interested in walking with us. Yes, it will be cold but it was a blast last year so come freeze 🥶 with us!!

Pawsitive Pup will be in Danville's Small Town Christmas Parade again! Last year was a blast and the dogs enjoyed the endless line of pets and attention! I’m pretty sure they thought the whole shin dig was just for them.

So, we are inviting YOU to walk with us if you have worked with Pawstive Pup whether it be boarding or training (even at PetSense)!

A few things you need to think about before signing up.. Can your dog handle the commotion. There are lights and horses and trucks and all the stuff and we want to ensure that your dog can enjoy the fun without being stressed. We also have to ensure that your dog is NOT reactive or nervous as there will be other dogs, horses, and lots of humans that want to pet your dog. This is for the safety of your dog and those around us. Lastly, can your dog handle the standing and waiting as well as the distance, it’s a good long walk at a very slow pace and there is occasional waiting around.

If you would like to join our walking group, the parade is on December 6th at 6:30pm. Please reach out if you are interested. I will have a contact list so that as I receive the parade details, I can pass them on to you!

Another clip from his recent work on impulse control. It’s not so much about staying on Place as it is remaining calm around something excited, he just happens to love being on Place! He is very jumpy with kids so remaining calm was a tough one but he nailed it 🙃

For this guy, it’s all about impulse control. He’s just a happy little pup and can get a bit too excited and without impulse control, you better just wear pants and long sleeves.

While we do know he is just a puppy, you can still have fair expectations to work on building a better habit so that we can break the bad ones as he matures. He is soooo smart and his owners have already built a great foundation, we are just throwing some more at him.
