Reminder to sign up for class, begins this coming Friday @ 6:00pm

Group Class enrolling now 📣 Canine Good Citizen 6 Week Course begins January 2nd

Prerequisites
• Dogs should be 8 months or older.
• Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations.
• Dogs have an understanding of basic obedience commands.
• Dogs are non reactive to people or pets.

Course Curriculum - $150
Week 1 - Intro to class, Accepting a friendly stranger.
Week 2 - Appearance and grooming, Supervised separation.
Week 3 - Sit and down on cue/Staying in place, Coming when called, Siting politely for petting.
Week 4 - Out for a walk, Walking through a crowd.
Week 5 - Reaction to another dog, Reaction to distractions.
Week 6 - Review 10 test items, Practice test.

We will hold a Canine Good Citizen test following the course should you feel ready to do so!

Should we have enough interest following the CGC we will then offer the CGCA and CGCU.

Foster dog Socks got to go on a field trip today and she was soooo brave! She had previously been too scared to venture out but with time and patience, she made it out to take a hike and seemed to LOVE it. She was a little nervous but loosened up quickly. She responded really well on leash and to her recall, even while she was busy protecting me from a squirrel.
